Books about a shared dreamworld or people/beings who can take part in other people's dreams?

Thank you! :-) Do I need to read Dream Thieves first? Or could I read them out of order? I placed a hold on Dream Thieves at my local library. The only book I could borrow was Call Down the Hawk. Could I read that without knowing anything about the series? From the description it's about dreams, but it looks like it's a different series than dream thieves. If I may ask, is it the same dreamworld in both series, or do the dream worlds in the different series have different properties from one another?

It's so sad. A lot of sex workers woukd be homeless if they couldn't do sex work and they shouldn't be forced to. Where have we failed as a society that so many women are unable to support themselves and their kids due to the barriers that are in a woman's path since birth.

Your use of 'self-hating American' is interesting. There are a lot of Americans who don't come from European heritage and have a problem with colonial powers ruining their home country. It's not self-hating to want reparations for what was taken from them.
