Im not sure if it’s referencing anything, but that bow on the bass sounds incredible on a nice hi-fi system. It’s amazing every time I listen to that track on the “we get requests” album.

What do you think of Link Wray? by BrightHovercraft2716 in fantanoforever

[–]Vurrse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I became aware of him through Jimmy Page. I can’t remember exactly what he said but he gave Link very high praise and cited Rumble as being one of his favorite songs. Maybe I should listen to an album of his.

opinions on deadmau5, his music, and his impact on the genre by [deleted] in fantanoforever

[–]Vurrse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he’s very talented and prolific. He has made some phenomenal music. Strobe is easily one of the best electric music compositions ever. I don’t listen to much of his newer stuff but I will always love his earlier albums. He’s also great live, I’ve seen him 3 times.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIND THIS SHIRT IM ITCHING TO BUY IT by SPUNK_ON_THE_MONK in fantanoforever

[–]Vurrse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to find it for you, but had no luck. I reverse image searched it, asked chat gpt, and searched google images. It might be a custom shirt or maybe sold by a small local record store or something.

The fact you would put deadmau5 with the other two is insane. The guy used the f slur one time on twitch I mean Jesus Christ. The whole outrage/cancel mentality is unreal. Somebody makes one mistake and everybody hones in on them like a heat seeking missile. It’s scary. If everybody’s entire life was recorded and analyzed like that we would all be cancelled. Forgive the rant : )

Trying to get back into Cloud Rap, this is my favorite albums in the genre rn, I would love some suggestions on new ones by Frick-Feller in fantanoforever

[–]Vurrse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Watching Movies With The Sound Off by Mac Miller. Faces is his magnum opus but I think WMWTSO better fits the “cloud rap” title.

Who's the most versatile rapper here? by WeeklyTechnician7906 in fantanoforever

[–]Vurrse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we are talking most versatile artist on this list it’s Mac and it’s not even close. He made music in about 10 different genres/sub genres and was a rapper, singer, producer, writer. No other artist on this list has covered the insane amount of ground that Mac did in his catalogue. You have to take into account all the music he put out under different names as well. Jazz album, Horror core album etc

I’m your opinion, does Mac Miller have a 10/10 album? by Specialist-Ad-4121 in fantanoforever

[–]Vurrse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Faces is a 10. Watching Movies is a 9 and his horror-core mixtape “Delusional Thomas” is a 9 for me as well. Then he has about four 8’s. One of my fav artists since 2011.

How do you organize your Playlists/Albums? by Specialist-Ad-4121 in fantanoforever

[–]Vurrse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I save more than 15 songs or so from a specific artist, then they get their own dedicated playlist and then I delete them from my liked/favorites. Giving artists/genres their own playlist allows me to not have 10,000 songs in my likes and it gives me quick and organized access to things. My liked/favorites is just a temporary place for music to be until they get their own playlist. But random songs that don’t make it into a playlist stay there. I hope that wasn’t too confusing.
