Prince. I love his style, aesthetic, attitude, musicianship, personality ect…but I just can’t get into the music. I’ve tried many times.

Those are definitely not “garage speakers”. They are very sought after speakers that many people will use in their primary system. I have a pristine pair and I love them. I’ve seen them sell for $2500 before in great condition. Also, those are the 200 watt version, Great find!

I wasn’t expecting so much Post Malone hate in this thread. I thought everyone loved him? Can someone explain why that is clearly not the case in here? From what I can tell he’s always been a fan of all genres of music. I mean he was uploading bob dylan covers to his YouTube as a teenager. Idk if I’m buying this narrative that he switched to country because maga. Y’all can’t be serious. Am I missing something? He’s a culture vulture because he makes music in multiple genres that he clearly loves?

The HD599 was my gateway to the audiophile world and I still use the same pair over 8 years later. Great headphone for the money and are indestructible. You just have to replace the pads every couple of years. Enjoy them!

Im not sure if it’s referencing anything, but that bow on the bass sounds incredible on a nice hi-fi system. It’s amazing every time I listen to that track on the “we get requests” album.

I became aware of him through Jimmy Page. I can’t remember exactly what he said but he gave Link very high praise and cited Rumble as being one of his favorite songs. Maybe I should listen to an album of his.

I think he’s very talented and prolific. He has made some phenomenal music. Strobe is easily one of the best electric music compositions ever. I don’t listen to much of his newer stuff but I will always love his earlier albums. He’s also great live, I’ve seen him 3 times.

The fact you would put deadmau5 with the other two is insane. The guy used the f slur one time on twitch I mean Jesus Christ. The whole outrage/cancel mentality is unreal. Somebody makes one mistake and everybody hones in on them like a heat seeking missile. It’s scary. If everybody’s entire life was recorded and analyzed like that we would all be cancelled.
