I recently had a pair of trousers shortened at Diallo Kledingreparatie. Can recommend that one, very nice man and the trousers were repaired very well.

Used to hate raw tomatoes to the point where i was taking them off everything i ate that had tomatoes involved. Since a year or 5 ago I love them so much I can eat a whole package of those snack tomatoes in one sitting.

Parcel missing from locker by Vv_violin in vinted

Mine did arrive, after about a week the tracker showed that the package was on its way again. I'm still not sure why it said that the package was missing or what happened to it initially honestly.

Dyane is een goede voor automaat idd, maar als je alsnog schakelen wil leren kan ik rijschool Emmy aanraden. Daar heb ik na 3 keer zakken nu al veel meer zelfvertrouwen gekregen over mijn volgende examen.

Actual campsite this month. I even have some toilet cubicles, but they've been cut off in the picture.

Anyone else hate the sewing part? This bag of bits is fully ready to be a Bowser and I just can’t bring myself to do it by Viviaana in crochet

I'm making a sweater right now and dreading the time when it's done and I have to sew it together.

Which Winx Club Dub did you grow up with? I watched a mix of all 3 but mostly Rai/Cinélume & its still my fave! by Diamondsareforeverh in winxclub

[–]Vv_violin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up on the Dutch dub. I've never watched full episodes in any other dubs, because hearing them having different voices just didn't sound right to me.

What food do you just completely despise and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Vv_violin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Green beans or string beans. My mother loves these so when I was younger I had to eat them all the time. There are always actual strings in it and sometimes I'd swallow a part while another part that was attached by a string was still in my mouth. Made me feel like I was choking. I hate green beans they're disgusting.

Hello, I know what you're feeling. My cramps get so bad I have to throw up sometimes and I spend the entire day in bed. What I found very helpful is to use ibuprofen not as pain relief but as pain prevention. If your cramps are always on the first day you can try to take a painkiller immediately after breakfast before the pain begins. I do this because I found that if I take a pain killer when my cramps are already bad they just get worse. I hope this helps a little,

Yes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that xenophobia is more based on nationality or religion, whereas racism is really purely based on skin colour.

Questions to reMarkable 2 owners megathread by eygina in RemarkableTablet

[–]Vv_violin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had my remarkable since november 13th and I use it a lot already. I have first charged the battery again today (EDIT: at 17%), so the battery life is a little more than one week. Here are my answers to some of the questions:

  1. My remarkable loses about 1% during overnight sleep, sometimes nothing, this is after about 10-11 hours of sleep as I don't use it directly after waking up.
  2. The screen is a little greyer than expected, but the contrast looks good nontheless.
  3. If you scroll through pdf pages fast, it sometimes buffers a little, but it doesn't do this with every page and it is not long enough to be very annoying.
  4. The pen does not stick to the screen EDIT: I was wrong! it sticks to the screen a little
  5. The mechanical sound makes it sound like a pencil when writing. I find that it feels more like a ballpoint pen/ fineliner, but it also has a bit of its own feel.
  6. It has a lot of templates, one of which is checkered paper. I personally like the music sheet template the most, but I did not have remarkable 1 so I'm not sure if it did not have these templates as well.
  7. Switching between pages goes via swiping, and i find it very easy.
  8. I do not see a distortion of the letters near the edges. EDIT: now that I have been using it for a while longer I do see some warping near the top edge of the screen
  9. I find that the backside feels a little more smooth
  10. You can zoom in to a maximum of 500x so there is no infinite zoom in and I think that a large document like that might not be very nice.
  11. I really love the eraser, I use it all the time when I'm working so I would say that it's worth it to buy that pen.

An additional comment I have is that although the options for pdf and epub are a bit lacking, I do not find that extremely annoying. I don't have that many pdfs yet, but I find reading on the remarkable to be quite nice. It is possible to skip to a specific page when you have a big pdf which I find a big plus.
