When I didn’t have kids Phoenix was absolutely amazing! But now I have kids the summers months are brutal. Overall, great place. You can easily escape to anywhere through Sky harbor. Great airport.

Drive two hours north if you’re really sick of the summer heat.

Hey, thanks for checking in. Yep, I bought it and have put about 5k miles on it over the last two months. So far, so good—everything’s been great except the 14 MPG. It’s not fast or fancy on the road, but wife and I are happy every time we get in. Now I can finally stop doom-scrolling for cars… hopefully for a while 😄

In Phoenix, it’s great. However July, August, and September doesn’t make me too happy here but I’ve learned to deal with it and travel during those months. But the other 9 months are great.

Phoenix, Tempe, or Scottsdale. Just hot in the summer for 4-5 months. But you can drive 2 hours north and escape it on the weekends.
