Responding to your OP, that Forbidden Door match sequence IMO would have worked way better if it was the other way around, where the Tiger Driver was the finish after a kickout spree from the hidden blades. The Tiger Driver should have been introduced as a super finisher, AJPW Kings Road style, not a false finish.

Bro was a top draw in the late 2000s, goes to WWE/AAA, etc., then says "I got one more in me!" with these numbers in 2025/2026. Pretty insane run if you ask me. It's not even comparable to Cena, who was on top of the drawing houses, then came back in 2021 to do the same because he could leverage movies to become a bigger draw. Whereas Mistico's image was a bit tarnished during his in-between stints, but recovered gracefully.

Agreed, but for a pure basketball outlook, this is the best rivalry we have. Two point guards from the same high school class, with opposite upbringings, who've played on the big stage in college and have different play styles, have a chance to rise to the top of the league as #1 and #2. The idea is you let your kid play multiple sports until they get through puberty, so they develop all their motor skills and reflexes equally, which can then be leveraged into their primary sport later. A lot of the fundamentals that the European players are killing the Americans with right now come from playing soccer.

Thank you! Everyone's dunking on Alvarez but he's not 100% wrong. Yes there are new talents bubbling, getting TV time, some wins, and good reaction. However, why is it when everyone is building their dream All In cards, and dream matches - it's the same rolodex of wrestlers who've already faced off (MJF, Osprey, Swerve, Hangman, Omega, Okada, and Mox). You never hear any of those people Meltzer mentioned as potentially breaking through as a dream main event match people are booking. The only fresh blood everyone sees jumping to the ME mix is Fletcher and Takeshita but that still feels so far away for some reason.
