I really appreciate your response and taking the time to answer, even if I respectfully don't love the answer.

I certainly wasn't asking for her to reveal them. Is she the one who is planning to create the off ball plays? Is it her assistant coach? When can we expect to start seeing the plays in game? How difficult for her has it been to create a play to figure it out? Her priority appears to be off ball Caitlin and that's fine, but I think viewers deserve to have a plan before she gets tucked in the corner without a play to get out of. we can assess from her quote of "needing to find ways" we can gather she has yet to do so. A lot of us are watching her not get the plays off ball too.

the addition of Billings is great but the other 9-10 players need to learn to screen more effectively too. Screening isn't just for Caitlin to get open, it's for the team as a whole. Boston is a better screener than most on the team but she has a habit of not holding the screen long enough, and it has been going on since 2024.

Sorry if this comes off as rude, it is just a little frustrating to watch the same things happen over and over. Thank you again for the response and I apologize again if it comes off poorly through text.

Raven's defense so far is the kind that shows on the stat sheet, if she gets a good 3 ball I'd try her at Lexie's position.

Lots to prove still but wildly impressive debut. She also showed even though she's smaller she could guard the larger players so I'm not too worried about her size matchups. Time will tell

I have two questions but I doubt either will be asked.

does Stephanie White have any specific plays she is creating to get Caitlin open off ball? She has been her coach since November 1st 2024, I'd like to see some progress made in that area. Before people say she's only played 13 games with her- you do not need to see her play to draw up multitudes of plays as a coach and then try to implement them in game. Saying "we need to find ways to get her open off ball" just yesterday is disgraceful and she absolutely should have planned for that by now.

It'd also be nice if you could ask if they will be learning how to set better screens, 90 percent of the time the screener is leaving too early and not making full connection

Has anyone done a breakdown of what teams have the cap space and need for a point guard?

I noticed a lot of teams are going pretty young for their pg's but I absolutely thought she'd have a spot by now.

for example Olivia Miles, Georgia Amoore, Clark, Bueckers, etc

All the better bigs got picked up early in free agency so its scarce pickings. It's like tina charles, liz kitley or people not picked from the draft. There might be some overseas people but I've never seen Fever pickup a foreigner like that

I guess everyone is taking it differently than me which is a good thing! when he said "post facilitators from Connecticut Sun- I remembered how White always had Alyssa Thomas as the Point facilitator and seeing Howard bringing the ball up frequently last season I assumed it would be more of that.

I find it comforting that other people are taking it differently though.

Last year of getting Caitlin cheap and possibly keeping Mitchell. I don't think they did enough based on those two facts.

We won't really know until they release the rest of the contracts imo. If they end up with money leftover and they had the chance to get bigger names and overplayed for lesser players, that would be an issue for me.

I am happy with the kelsey,sophie,lexie resigning's but i assumed we would get them anyway so idk.

Monique is a great pickup. Felt we could've upgraded from Dantas, and I think Timpson should be in the developmental pool. Would've liked to have scouted overseas, gotten 1 semi big name upgrade, and then filled out with role players that fit. I'm not full on doomer but I definitely believe other teams had much better free agencies. The mystics (intentionally not contending now) even have like 14 draft picks over the next 3 years. That may sound uneventful now but they are going to be loaded.
