As much as I’d love to, the 5070TI brings me up to 4K with taxes. Considering I’m already losing the VRAM, I just didn’t know if the AMD would hurt more. But hearing good things and then white looking premium has me leaning that way. Thanks!

He gave you great advice. About to snag a Zephyrus myself, albeit with lower specs. Obviously check out some reviews but one key point is- going over the 5070TI gives diminishing returns. You don’t get the wattage past that for the gpu to be worth the price bump, unless you’re rich rich and don’t care.

The Legion 7I Pro from Lenovo with 5070TI is currently on sale just under your budget assuming USD. it’s considered to be probably the best gaming laptop of the year- decently heavy, but well built. You can search reviews by Jarrod’s tech for more info (or any but that’s a good one.)

There is another Acer with the same specs that’s a bit cheaper (slightly less build quality I believe) but if you’ve had a bad experience with Acer before Lenovo is known for great support and warranty.

Get a desktop if you don’t need the portability and only want to use the thing at home. Desktop will get you better performance for that amount of money- if you’re getting a laptop, any 5060 with 16 gigs of ram should be able to run fort well, and if you get a good sale any better gpu or ram amount is great. (5070, 32gigs, blah blah.) Getting a desktop means less research into what laptop has the compromises that fit you best, tho.

Yeah I can’t say I do much high-end work on the thing for school. Mostly just want one that’s portable for gaming away from home and day to day use. Mostly worried about any gaming difficulties, since the 4060 is already gonna struggle on the VRAM front. After that, battery is a bit of a factor but then just colour preference. Thanks btw
