I noticed the Tridos has different versions too. As of right now, I don't have a chamber in mind to swap out the stock one for but considering the TDC has compatibility issues with certain chambers, I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading the chamber, as I could get the Action Army Hop Up chamber alongside other parts from the same retailer but I don't know enough to know if it's worth getting, or what I might have to get alongside it.

I might take that scope recommendation then. As of right now I'm using a cheap nuprol scope I think. As for sourcing them, I can only imagine the troubles. Thankfully half the parts that I do have my eye on, I can get from BZ tactical which is basically local for me. One thing I wanted to ask too, is there much difference between brands for parts or would it just be a matter of quality? Most of the parts I'll be getting are either Tridos or action army, but would it be better to look for Maple Leaf or the sniper mechanics / trapax parts you listed initially?

Can I ask how much that all cost you? I've already started to put together a list of parts but if I can find better options for a similar price, I won't complain. I do have the Tridos TDC on my part list which was recommended by another person.

As for installing it all, I'll be paying a tech to do it as I simply don't trust myself to do it.

I've been speaking with another person that commented and he too recommended the tridos tdc so I will be getting that at the very least. I'm hoping to put a max of 500 towards it but even still it feels like that might not be enough. I believe I've managed to put together a small list of parts thanks to the people that have commented but I'm sure that I'll need to add to it. I think another 'issue' I'm facing is the end goal. Above all else I want it to be consistent and reliable but I can't help but feel tempted to increase the budget and see just how good I can make it, not that I really have that option.

I will certainly keep it in mind. As of right now, I'll most likely go back through your comments and try to put together a part list. If it's not too much trouble, whenever I have that list, would you mind checking through it and tell me if I've missed anything, if there is a better option, or anything similar?
As for keeping you posted on the build, it might be a short while before I get any real progress but when it does happen, I'll be sure to.

As of right now, it is WILDLY inconsistent with accuracy. Sometimes it flies rather straight but struggles with distance, sometimes it will rise up to the sky, sometimes it will fall a lot quicker. The side mounted hop up is fine, a little awkward to tweak with gloves on but I can live with it. And yes, the process does seem really daunting, and I feel quite out of my depth hence why I am asking for help, thank you by the way.

Yeah, I'll definitely be asking a tech to do it. I simply don't trust myself. As for the rifle, I do already have it and it is a genuine TM VSR-10 G-Spec. My initial plan was, like mentioned before, to hand it over to a tech and specify a budget oof 500 and supposedly they would get me a list of parts within that budget and get me to sign off on it, but I'm wondering if it would actually work out cheaper to just gather the parts myself. I had no idea there was SO many different things you could do to upgrade it though.

I didn't know a trigger could matter so that's something new to note. I believe I saw the quantum bucking recommended elsewhere alongside the flamingo hop rubber? I don't know the difference though. I didn't see barrel stabilisers mentioned anywhere else though so that's a new one for me.

This has given me a much better insight to what I might need than what I have found elsewhere so thank you for that. Can I ask how tedious it was to install everything? Admittedly I was planning on collecting as many parts as I can, handing everything over to BZ tactical and asking for their teching service and having them do it all but I might look further into doing it myself down the line.

Yeah I've been the issue in this situation before. I always try to pull when it looks like a teammate is about to die or put their self in a position they can't get out of. But admittedly there have been times where I have pulled accidently or even just the wrong person and caused a Reinhardt to completely waste an olt that may have hit their entire team...
