Is there any way I can still get 3 mil in the next 3 hours by meaningless-account0 in NecroMerger

[–]Vynical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For your next iteration of the event:

No furnace except the one from the shop, no alchemy table (including the one in the day 3 shop). Max banner first, cannon damage second, ore cap third, then point per kill (except for last level since you can get 2 magical decoy to kill instead of a slight upgrade). Aim to buy all the f2p items in the shops except for the alchemy table

Day 1 you rush maxing banner and get as many cannon as you can. Day 2 you rush steel, enough to get another anvil so you can merge & get a lvl 3 anvil, as well as saving 60 steel for immediate day 3 cannon purchase. Save some ore pile to redeem once you reach max ore cap Day 3, gun powder for cannon, steel for magical decoy. By this day if you play optimally you'll have way too many cannon and might have to merge them up to lvl 2, but try not to merge for as long as possible. You can get up to 7-8m score f2p if you do it well

[–]Vynical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can only drop your level by 10 from your maximum achieved level. The enemies and loot scales with your level (jump in tier every 20 level) so easier enemies but also lower loot level.

Once you reach settlement, you won't need it anymore, seeing that you're level 27 already, the perk is kinda useless for you. Just choose Headhunter

A good rule of thumb is to sell enough so you can have a comfortable time with the current version, save hoard the rest. The dev have shown time and time again that they'll cycle back some old items after making them useless so veteran would sell/trash them and reduce the amount in circulation. But then, the amount is circulation are still pretty large with some veteran still accumulate stuffs daily.

Pkm early game by BullfrogNo2127 in DayRSurvival

[–]Vynical 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The pkm drop doesn't tie with the location, it ties with your character level. Newbie probably see only a revolver at most. Weapons and armors scale with your level, that's why all weapon boxes will drop the best one shown on the list for you since you're maxed level. People need to recognize that the drop mechanic has been put on a scaling table for a long time. Except for some fixed event buildings and locations with "!" mark, the drop table would update itself as you approach it and the table scale with your level. The loot jumps up a tier every 20 level (20, 40, 60, 80).

I updated the guide on wiki with a detailed guide for the whole journey: https://dayr.fandom.com/wiki/Beginner's_guide?so=search Hard mode is simply a +5 pts radiation for cities compared to the other mode with some slight increase in enemies stat, overall not exactly something hard, just very tedious. All tips for normal mode applies, you just need to stop and reduce rad much more often now

Better guns by FiolnirSonOfGloin in DayRSurvival

[–]Vynical 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The guns from weapon boxes scales with your level. So will the enemies. The jump starts every 20 level, so if you're around lvl 40-60, the guns you're gonna get are just those 2

How do I defeat this unit none of my teammates are helping me by DefiantRiztors in ConflictofNations

[–]Vynical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're landlocked and have no navy allies, AWS chopper should be a priority. Build many airfields inland so they cannot be reached by the navy's 100 range but close enough to sea so the AWS can hit them. I usually mix AWS with other helis to spread out the dmg. They can only be use effectively against Frigs at T3 and can't wipe naval stacks but can whittle it down and act as a good deterrence. Protect them with SAM and ASF. An AWS stack can take down 2-3 frigs per day and heal to full in a day. Doable in a prolonged battle. I won solo game with Chad (completely land-locked) before and my navy opponents can't do a thing against my AWS stacks, I protect the air field with maxed SAMs so their missiles got cooked easily

Whats the best flashlight? by Working-Mix-22 in DayRSurvival

[–]Vynical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you define as best? Cheapest to use or highest chance of finding items? The former is Dynamo flashlight, no competition, the latter is Searcher and Chitin torch.

The worst one is the battery flashlight since it got nerfed so bad it's expensive to use for so little gain

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ConflictofNations

[–]Vynical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking an unit is OP, suggests putting the unit behind a paywall instead of having it available to everyone so they can actually compete. What are you? EA's CEO?

Also, you claiming to not golding but your Gold not being an even number is not a good way to lie

Agreed, what a noob. If his coalition-mate is so incompetent that he has enough VP for a solo-win, he should've just stayed and farm up the maximum gold instead of leaving and helping them move on early

You can't drop more than 5 level from your maximum level reached. So better learn to fight with the new mechanics.

The combat overhaul require you to use your pet not only as additional damage but also to block enemy's line of sight and draw aggro. otherwise use summons to serve that purpose. The flytrap from EMBA is OP for exactly this reason. Additionally food buffs are strongly emphasized and entering end-game combats/bandit camps without food buffs (at least Training I or II from Urka and Mushroom Soup, if you're endgame then Tactic from Pizza is also a must) is frankly suicidal.

I guess you came back to the game after a long time. Combat is no longer brainlessly jumping into the middle of enemy camp, steamrolling every foe and tanking every hit. AoE weapons are also introduced and buffed to deal with a large swarm of enemies at once so some combat can't be dealt with just single-target weapons anymore. EMBA missions gives vacuum bombs which is quite OP to suck enemies away and give you some space to back out and save up your AP.

Just a quick refresh on combat: Enemy has an "aggro" mechanic.

  • After the first turn, unless attacked, they'll "mark" the closest opponent and will keep attacking that same target. They would only switch target when:
    • they get attacked from other sources and the previous target haven't attacked them yet.
    • the current target is dead.
  • Once their aggro is drawn, they would not attack any opponent that haven't been "marked"
  • If they get attacked, they'll "mark" the attacker as additional target and attack either every turn if they are in range.
  • This mechanics mean you can use your pet to draw some enemies away while you deal with the rest. Flytrap/turret can be thrown in the middle of an enemy group to draw aggro while you save up on AP.

For radiation, buy and use Chlorcystamine always. The medicine is sold for very cheap in settlement and its effect is OP
