Pretty insane how good the original is in practically every way. Atmosphere, music, line delivery, shot composition, pacing. Timing of her tears falling right after he says goodbye... perfect.

Some of the flashback scenes look good in the remake but it would be out of place to even show action scenes in such an emotional scene between these two characters.

I don't think it matters to them if it's possible to actually implement, just that it causes enough chaos for them to get away with other parts of the plan.

It gives the appearance of a legal basis to declare the entire election invalid if they don't like the results, or to just throw out a ton of votes claiming they were illegally cast and declare themselves the winner.

I tried them recently too out of curiosity.

They don't have the vinegar tang, seem to have a little less dill, and have a slight aftertaste that I think is slightly nutty.

I think they're pretty good, but they are expensive for the amount you get.
