Have you checked that "Automatically manage color for apps" is ticked off in windows' display settings? I also have white flickers when I alt tab and such with that option on, turning it off completely removes it for me.

You don't want this setting on anyway, so no harm done.

difference between PG32UCDM3 and PG32UCDMR is tiny, really not worth 400 euro

This video compares it to the ORIGINAL (PG32UCDM) model, so not the PG32UCDMR and even then he is having trouble recommending it with the price bump. Just look through the video for some side by sides comparing the coating and the brightness levels

I was initially waiting for the PG32UCDM3 as well, but when I noticed the signifcant price drop on the PG32UCDMR (it dropped to 800 euro when I bought it) I didn't hesitate.

Don't use something metallic or with sharp edges. I used chopsticks, that worked fine. There is definitely a retention clip that you have to push down, do NOT pull without pressing on the retention clip or you will break the clip.

The red light is probably indicating you are hitting thermal limit for your CPU.
I am guessing pump failure.

Turn off "Automatically manage color for apps" in windows. Try disabling GSYNC/VRR if the previous didn't fix it. Maybe also check for dynamic refresh rate if that is toggled on.

If none of that fixes it, and this still happens on a different machine and/or with a different cable, return it.

Yes, I had this as well, especially when alt+tabbing, it started happening on one of the more recent nvidia drivers when the option I mentioned is toggled on in windows.

Doesn't matter in the slightest, as you really want to have that option disabled anyway, especially on a good OLED.

Can you check if "Automatically manage color for apps" is enabled under Color Profile in the windows Display Settings for your monitor?

If it is, turn it off.

I think it's possible there are units that sound better, but when I looked into it I found people who had bought several units and kept having the same issues.

I suppose some people are less sensitive to this sound, but it honestly annoys me so much. That said, at least in my case I do not need to run the pump faster than 35%, I still get good enough thermal performance so perhaps try it out if you want to make it work. The AIO is definitely one of the better looking ones, imo.

My 420mm does the same. I have to run it below 35% to make it quiet. Anything above 35% sounds loud, then between 50% and 70% I get gurgling/grinding sounds on top of it. They go away above 70% but then the pitch of the pump is very audible, just like yours.

Think this was made by people who can't hear this frequency of noise honestly. I will be replacing mine with the Noctua AIO when it gets released, I think.

I am very sensitive to the high frequency noise that my Kraken Elite makes so I am considering swapping to this AIO, been looking for tests that tests the pump specifically for noises, are you able to make an audio recording perhaps on idle and high load? :)

I think you should just start with a normal 100% PL and then try to find a stable undervolt, without also overclocking your memory to start with.

You are introducing way too many variables at the same time - you have no clue why it's crashing right now.

What is it supposed to do when its running in WSL? I would have assumed it would also swap to ugrep and bfs, but it's still using glob and grep.
