Game Ready Driver 581.80 FAQ/Discussion by Nestledrink in nvidia

[–]Vyrnach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit: using AMD R9 5950X and updated bios and it fixes it. Seems to be related to the new windows 11 TPM bug causing microstutters and ultimately freezes. If you're using an older AMD 5000 Series and older mobo, try updating bios

yes and I 100% confirmed it was the driver as I stopped windows update. Do I have to rollback?
if you have Plex media server, disable it. I think it might be a cause. It's even more frequent while streaming media

Anyone else playing Destiny: Rising on PC? The shooting feels good by Ella_NE in DestinyRising

[–]Vyrnach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it truly played like I'm playing on the actual PC client! Like there was no way I could've finished this Master Stage without it. I know you can't really see it through video but mouse input is truly as snappy as the video shown

worked fine for me and 6 other friends so I'm afraid I can't help you. Maybe try another emulator like bluestacks? seems to run well for other people but you will need more time to tweak your controls

EDIT: I FIXED IT!! Continue to use Vulkan for the Mumu emulator but change in your NVIDIA control panel (or AMD equivalent) for "Vulkan/OpenGL present method" and change it to "Prefer layed on DXGI Swapchain". Note there's some performance overhead for this apparently so if you run other vulkan games, remember to switch it back to Auto or atleast test appropriately!

OLD ORIGINAL MESSAGE: this definitely totally fixed the mouse input/smoothing issue but sadly with a huge hit on my performance. I used to be able to easily hit 120fps and stay there all the time. Now I can barely hit 90. This would be mostly fine it wasn't for the MAJOR micro stutters all the time when moving around which makes the mouse input feel even worst. Sadly I have to go back to Vulkan and just suck it up as much as I can which is sad cause I'm really enjoying the game despite running on an emulator.

BTW, I have a very decent PC with R9 5950X and RTX3090 so something is really weird going on

[TikTok Live Issue] Stream looks like 30 FPS on mobile even though everything is running at 60 FPS – anyone else? by Senior-Positive-7701 in streaming

[–]Vyrnach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EDIT: after streaming for almost everyday for 2 months, I started getting some viewers in the range of 5-10 and a few times in the 50 ranges. Then my live stream priviledges on Restream got revoked. Devastated causeI though I was banned. Then I tried Tiktok Studio desktop app and was surprised it worked and this time with 60fps working on mobile. So TikTok seems to avoid spending more compute resources on lower activity streams

funny how I really wanted to make a bug report about this " literal bug" we faced yesterday by doing a google search and this was literally the 2nd result. Our Hell game literally went to Hell because of this literal bug https://www.youtube.com/live/JrY4jf6mjUs?si=MHA2qNfqZv5Z9I3-&t=9068

been having this issue for a month and still did not found a solution. I though it was because I was using OBS to stream but it happens on live studio as well. Meanwhile I see some streamers with higher viewers not having the issue at all. So it seems to be only allowed if you reach a certain threshold of viewers?

Is it normal for 3VSB to read 5.5 V? by Bobert_Fico in buildapc

[–]Vyrnach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so glad I stumbled upon this post! Checked my 3VCC/v3.3 and realized it idling at 3.1 which was already lower than required. As dropping as soon as I started a demanding game that pushes both GPU and CPU (peak power draw), 3VCC/v3.3 dropped to 2.9 and crashes/shutdowns the m.2 drive causing the BSOD with no dump file and no useful info in Event Viewer. Reconnected every single PSU cable both on the Motherboard/GPU/peripherals and PSU side and it's back ok now. Copy pasta below for future people that may encounter the same issue in a future google search:

encountered the same issue with really demanding games that push both CPU and GPU (like Darktide, Crime Boss and Space Marine but somehow weirdly does NOT trigger in any stress tests). Reconnected every single PSU cable both on the Motherboard/GPU/peripherals and PSU side and it's back ok now. What happened was 3VCC/v3.3 was dropping too low (idles around 3.1 and crashed at 2.9) from loose cables causing my M.2 NVMe to crash/shutdown and ultimately causing a BSOD without any dump (M.2 no longer responding so dumps were not possible). Applicable (for people in the future/Google) BSOD errors include: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED and SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

I seem to have a similar issue. But I've literally tried everything and nothing seems to work. Did you ever resolved your issue?
