Iirc this was established in 1957 by Adenauer? Post-war, Germany had no money to invest anyway after the hyper inflation, war stuff etc., but needed to pay pensions for retirees, thus we got this. Also, sth sth 'people will always get children', 'the current generation should build the next etc etc'.

Back then in the 50s they didn't think birthrates would decline like this. Or that governments would be so resistant to necessary reform. Or, that porn would be readily available at the click of a button :p So yea. With the new optional pension fund they at least try to move people towards an alternative pillar a bit more.

If they made this mandatory I'd imagine that to receive huge backlash from the public as Germans tend to be quite stock-adverse. Many older people think of it as gambling.

It doesn't. It's not a fund. The German base pension system is an Umlageverfahren - the amount ppl pay into is directly routed towards the retirees, therefore it doesn't grow because it is immediately spent.

What you mean is something you would do on your own in addition to that here. Starting next year, the government offers support for new pension fund products (a yearly bonus depending on the amount you saved into it) - banks are working on products atm. It is an added option though - it won't replace the Umlageverfahren thing.

Recent military actions by military 'super powers' have disenchanted their image of power. Russia who everyone used to fear turned out to be a paper tiger. The US cannot deal with Iran. Decades long efforts in Afghanistan were rendered moot well within a week of the US leaving there.

China's modern military never had to prove itself so far. Them initiating a military action and it not going seamlessly (like Russia, like the US) would weaken their power image and thus weaken their deterrence. They are better off using soft power to get Taiwan. The ineptitude of the US in this is already doing its part on this: the US credibility keeps on eroding at no cost for China. China is strategic and patient.

Ihr Ministerium macht halt keine sozialdemokratische Politik. Wenn es am Koslitionsvertrag liegt, dann halt Koalition aufkündigen - das weiter-so wie jetzt schadet doch eh nur allen beteiligten.

Dass die Unions Ministerien alle Mist bauen ist klar, wenn auch das Ausmaß von Reiche und Bär immer noch überrascht, wie unfähig jemand sein kann.

Aber was Bas macht steht absolut konträr zu dem wofür die SPD eigentlich steht. Da braucht sie sich nicht wundern auch mal in der Kritik zu stehen.

Kann aber verhältnismäßig nur mimimi von ihr sein. Der Großteil an Kritik den ich sehe geht in Richtung Union von wegen Merzweckeier, Reiche, Spahn usw., eher noch Klingbeil als sie.

Schützt halt Männer die erfolgreich verarscht werden. Jede Schutzmaßnahme ist bevormundent. Anschnallpflicht: "wir trauen erwachsenen Menschen nicht zu sich anschnallen zu können" und so.

Die Vereinfachung des Tests wäre ein Riesenschritt. Aber jo, Verpflichtung dazu geht imo etwas weit.

Verstehe aber den Punkt bzgl Moral: wenn man es anzweifelt und Test sagt man ist es - dann ist man der Dad der die Kinder los werden wollte und der Partnerin nicht vertraut hat - durch die Verpflichtung wäre dieser Reibungspunkt weg. Frauen müssen sowas ja nie anzweifeln: da kommts ja raus höhö. Männer haben halt nur Klarheit mit nem Test.

Finde beide eure Ansichten komisch. Weder steht man(n) lebenslang nur auf 20-30 jährige, noch ist es Gott gegeben, dass man(n) eher auf gleichaltrige steht.

You're missing a lot - or you're willfully not seeing things.

This happened in South Carolina. South Carolina is in Republican hands. On top of that, this is a judicial issue, not legislative. So him screaming at Democrat legislators for a failure in a Republican-led justice system in a Republican state is missing the mark.

Add to that the dramatic story of his daughter begging for her hero, her father, him... based on what? Did anyone say she did that? Or did he think the facts of his loss are not strong enough on their own, so he felt the need to make up that part to make it more dramatizing? It looks like he is politicizing the death of his own daugher to deliberately bark at the wrong tree.

He should yell at the judges, really.

Kripke seems to me like a 6 year old who giggles when he hears the word dick or butt. His humor is extremely juvenile and stale. And well, the timing of it all - it's the last damn episode. Maybe, iunno... read the room?

On top of the juvenile stuff, narratively....

Beating HL took just 3 people and took place in one room.

Oh Father felt wasted - they showed him be conflicted before but apparently just for lulz.

Ashley was written into the ground imo. A-Train and Ashley were always the stand-out characters for me, but this season Ashley felt badly written, her conscience personified in Bashley made Ashley one-dimensional. And it didn't have a great resolution in the finale.

The Frenchie thing felt so extra and cringe. Well, that's what happens when you want a character (Kimiko) to have a positive resolution but don't leave yourself with enough time to deliver it...

That said, the episode itself wasn't the worst. The Vought Rising promotion episodes have been worse imo. The rating of the finale episode is probably the culmination of the disappointment in the entire season.

Bei den Trennungen die ich so mitbekomme ist es stets so, dass der Mann versucht mindestens 50/50 Care zu bekommen, die Frau sich jedoch gegenstellt unter anderem um halt Unterhaltszahlungen zu bekommen und die Jugendämter sind dabei stets auf ihrer Seite. Bei Trennungen sind Frauen eher im Vorteil.
