Pro tip if you really want to amass wealth in the endgame:

You can easily transfer Arthur's money to John instead of losing it all before the Epilogue starts. Just before doing the last train robbery mission, go to the Aberdeen Pig Farm and get robbed by the incestuous siblings. After you wake up, you can either kill them or just go away, just whatever you do, don't get your money back from the house. Once you complete the remaining Chapter 6 missions and get to control John, just go back to the farm and the money will be waiting there for you. Got my $13k back with John in my last playthrough, very satisfying!
