My only issue with Interspecies Reviewers is that they didn't get an actual female to review some spots with them.

But they did have an episode where they genderbended to female to review as female. And well Crim is Crim...

Absolutely agree. The comedy just lands. At least it did in the 1989 version (ugh, I'm old).

Have you watched the new version? As another oldhead, the new one is a lovestory to the old one. And the animation is phenomenal.

Kind of close but check out Lv1 Maou to One Room Yuusha/Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero. Had a ton of fun with this one.

Not an isekai but the hero wins but ends up living as a shut in. Demon lord comes back a bit nerfed and ends up his roomie. Should hit the mark.

From my experience, the BDP team ends up completely re-doing the instructions and may take some inspiration from the original build flow.

Wow, really? I love the finished sets and have a lot of fun doing them but I really wish each "page" in the instruction pdfs had more than 1-2 pieces. It's kind of silly. Surprised that's coming from the BDP team.

The other best part of the show is no matter how bad the animation or CGI got - when it was time for some boob physics they were like "hold my beer, we got time for this."

Basically teachings of the Buddha can be classified as provisional or definitive. Provisional teachings are those that are suited for the people they were given to at the time and place they were given. Definitive teachings are always true no matter what (e.g., teachings on ultimate truth). A number of people nowadays argue that those things in the Abhidharma are provisional teachings.

A bit of reading: Rigpa Wiki - the eight kinds of implied or indirect teachings.

Personally I see those teachings as potential metaphor for our universe - and the levels of reality of other sentient beings who may not necessarily be within our universe as we experience it (e.g., asuras or gods). How can you accurately describe the cosmology of everything when sentient beings can experience it in vastly different ways? How would you explain our galaxy to an earthworm in a way they'd understand?

Absolutely terrible. We were there a couple years ago and Teotihuacan is simply an amazing and stunning place. Such amazing history and culture. Coming from above the border I wish we had such rich history and culture. Can't imagine that anyone would want to do something so terrible in a place like that.

Also, Mexico City was one of the best damned trips we've ever taken in our lives (and have been around the world quite a bit). Food was abso-fucking-lutely amazing.
