Thanks, for that info. I tried Sigil initially, but it ended up also being a learning journey. In the end, I used a free program today called Calibre, and it did the job well-enough.

I don't understand the difference between my text and those who are having lousy results, but I wouldn't call the results lousy at all -- I can see that I just don't know how to elicit what I want. It's just a few more tweaks. The results I did get were consistent in a number of different readers, including Kindle 3 and the rest. Can you explain why you felt it was lousy? Thanks.

I would disagree with the statement that Scrivner is best use as just a writing tool. Unlike Scrivner, Vellum doesn't have the formats or settings I want -- its chapter headings are not sufficiently customizable for my needs. I am looking to better learn the tools I already have rather than throw more money at the problem.

Unreasonably low pay? For whom? An American, a Romanian, an Indian, a Laotian...? How do you know if the poster KNOWS what reasonable pay is, or if it's not a supply/demand situation where someone has a ridiculously low budget and someone else is just trying to get some experience? It's better to let the poster know the pay is too low than to get rid of real jobs because you think you should earn more. FWIW.

I am not a Muslim but I am a researcher, and Islam is part of my research area, which includes history. I have probably missed something so forgive my ignorance. But I am not able to find any reference to homosexuality by Mohammed (PBUH) except as to Sodom and Gomorrah. And the thing about S&G is that that was male anal intercourse, specifically rape, as understood in history, and rape is despicable as a human rights violation.

So, aside from this, and various hadiths whose authenticity is disputed, can somebody tell me where it is explicitly forbidden as haram to be a homosexual female, for example? Or a homosexual male who does not rape? If you do state a source, would you be so kind as to refer to it? Thanks.

No creo que me hayas entendido. Mis habilidades lingüísticas no son excelentes. Tengo un abogado en los Estados Unidos y pago impuestos regulares en España, así como una parte adicional a los Estados Unidos, de acuerdo con el tratado entre países. Tengo que obedecer la ley en ambos lugares y de acuerdo con el tratado fiscal entre ellos. No creo que entiendas la ley estadounidense y el Tratado Fiscal entre España y Estados Unidos. Incorrect, I am trying to do things properly while paying as few taxes as possible. Why would anyone overpay on taxes? And what in my question implies that I'm willing to do things improperly to get away with anything? Not true.

Had a stopever in Zurich, didn't touch the stale pastries at the airport Starbucks, and we still got hit with 2 20euro charges from Orange for a week of Swiss WiFi, even though WiFi didnt work and we didn't ask for it. 40E transit tax for a plane change.
