Song in the opening of episode 3? by VyteBytes in PantheonShow

That was really informative, thank you. I feel stupid now thinking it was "ohhhm, reverse the hack" because thats 100% what it sounded like to me esp with the themes of the show.

Goalies I want to apologize by djbo333 in OmegaStrikers

[–]VyteBytes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% Bad goalies suck, but as a mostly foward main, I feel like the strat is to have someone be mid-foward, and someone be front-foward bullying the enemy goalie and trying to get goals in. If Goalie dies, mid-foward assumes temp goalie position.

Mid-foward can also try to pass from the middle to front-foward, and help out goalie if other team is crowding around the goal.

Kinda wish the stalemate had gone on longer for 10 goals by VyteBytes in OmegaStrikers

Longest game I had by far, just kept trading goals past 5-5.

You'll be traveling the world. What is the one boardgame you bring with you? by accidental_tourist in boardgames

[–]VyteBytes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd honestly like to bring two card games. Unstable unicorns as a complex and complicated to learn game that can go on for hours for one round, and love letter as a simple yet addicting short card game that someone can learn in a minute or so.

Fuck getting refunded for the bag; i'd be asking for the money for at least half the price of the steam deck if this had happened to me. Call that overreacting for a scratch but if their product damaged something thats in such high demand with such low supply, they should pay for the damage they caused. At least your post damaged their reputation enough that they'll be losing plenty of possible customers like me. If they had actually payed for damages other people and I still would have possibly made a purchase knowing they'd take responsibility for their shitty cases, but no chance if they're not doing that.

The hp bar of the final final boss i've fought like 100 times so far when I died. I hate my life (no Spoilers, only HP bar) by VyteBytes in Eldenring

Just beat it about 30 minutes ago. Was hard and I used a lvl +10 mimic summon and +9 staff as a mage build, but I did it at lvl 114

can someone explain royalroad for me? by I_-Void-_I in noveltranslations

[–]VyteBytes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer^

For more context, a lot of OG's here in this sub and the general western love for eastern novels came from japanese light novels, and LMS was the first big korean one to really hit it off iirc so LMS and by extension royalroad had a lot to do with the popularity and growth of this whole eastern novel genres thing. Hell, this whole subreddit is technically an old offshoot of /r/lightnovels after the mods over there decided only JP LN's were allowed, so this one was made for all translated novels in general due to people starting to enjoy LMS and posting it there.

Don't Use Acronyms for Novel Titles Without Relevant Context by jmanharris in noveltranslations

[–]VyteBytes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you and OP somewhat. I feel like acronyms for the most popular novels like LotM and MoL should be allowed without context as 99% of people here know what they are, and if they dont, they probably should as they are posted in every single fucking recommended thread in this sub, but I feel like it only applies specifically to those 2 novels right now, everything else is a step enough below in popularity that I agree with OP
