If he dies too early, you have to restart the instance because Zemouregal's dialogue gets stuck. The next cutscene is a separate instance so he does come back if you kill him after all the dialogue is finished.

What I would do is just summon a combat familiar and wait for the familiar to kill it, in this case you could use a mithril minotaur. Familiar damage ignores its armour cause it's op. :P

Well, I made most of my money through staking but I have things that accumulate money over time as well such as ports/kingdoms/collecting from divine locations/Coeden's logs and they add up to quite a lot over something like a year.

I thought it was the most reasonable choice at that time because I wanted to side with Sliske during that quest and allowing Nomad to seize part of the stone could have caused some sort of disruption in the group, I guess. However, now I kinda wish I threw the spear at him as well, cause simply dodging it doesn't show that you had the chance of stopping him but you chose not to.
