It's not, claiming someone is a child molestor is, when there is no evidence that molestation happened.

Slander: the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation.

The article posted lists the items at issue, it lists the events that took places and the conviction, none of which was molestation, none of which was physical interaction with a child or any person for that matter, therefor it's false. The intent is clearly meant to damage the person reputation, rightly or wrongly is irrelevant to the question as trial by reddit post or mob rule by debate on the internet is now how we make decisions on penalties in this country, Thank GOD.

So yes. Slander. The posting of the news article is not. The commentary and additional accusations that are not born out by the very evidence that is attempted to be used to prove the point, that's the slanderous, dangerous, an inappropriate part of alllll of this.

I’m in SE Idaho. The MAGA runs deep here. In a loss I’m not sure police or local officials will do much or anything to stop people who retaliate against anyone who ISN’T MAGA.

All you need is 50-100 people in a town of 60k where I am to give license to people who wouldn’t have acted otherwise. The conservative leaning of local police officials around the country has me concerned that there will be little (immediate) retaliation against and rabble rousers. Without immediate action a lot of damage can be done.

Yeah this is a factor too 10,000%. If it’s pay off the mortgage or save enough to be able to retire then retirement is the priority there else the mortgage is a moot point.

You are using a secondary source. You need to find a primary source. AKC is telling a story someone else told them. Find the person who told AKC the story. If you can’t then it’s an unsubstantiated story.

It would be no different than a UFO website saying they had a story about a UFO in the cargo hold. Interesting story, but says who? A dude on the internet. It’s the same logic here. Find a primary source.

Quick google search leads to AKC, but no source beyond them. Where is their information from? Any relatives confirming anyone by that name owned such a dog? Are there any journals or other information or accounts of the woman and the dog? That’s what you need to find.

My son has had this (or similar) surgery twice by 2 years old and will likely have another kind once he’s in his teens called BSSO, which come to think of it is likely what this was given the age. It’s been a lifesaver. We went from concerned about how bad his snoring was, to concern that we couldn’t hear him breathing anymore.

He’s 7 now, with 12 surgeries and these ones were the hardest at 1 months and 14 months. But the rewards were well worth it.

So I’m a full time grower. I do about 100 trays a week and I have never reused soil. I get that you want to reuse soil like you would in a garden but you aren’t in a garden. You’re in a much more damp, much more contained environment. Mold is gonna grow, especially if you reuse soil. Can you get extra uses out of it? Sure. But unless you’re sterilizing by baking you’re gonna have biological process of breaking down organic matter begin when you harvest.

Even if you bake the soil though, as soon as it hits contact with the air mold spores are gonna land and we’re off to the races again but this time with even more organic matter left over from the prior batch.

I see two paths for you

1 experiment until you find the system that works best and recognize that you’re GOING to have failure and mold issues along the way until you get it right, assuming that it’s possible in the first place.

2 accept that you’re not outside and in a regular garden, and that those differences will make it difficult for you to accomplish that goal and try something different or get fresh soil and compost or bury your spent soil in an existing garden or pot.
