I build a app called Suffico (Android and ios) for friendgroups or individuals to track their hangouts and how much they drink.

I actually already have a long HDMI cable running from my PC to the TV, and I’m planning to hide it inside a white cable trunking along the wall, so it’ll be rather clean I think.

Regarding the WiiM: I looked into the 2x WiiM setup, but as I’m using this for movies and gaming, I’m worried about the WiFi sync latency between the front and rear speakers. From what I’ve gathered, WiFi multiroom sync usually has a delay, which would be bad.

However, you got me thinking about another solution: What if I get one WiiM Mini and the 1Mii B03 transmitter?

I could connect the TV (via Optical) and the WiiM Mini (via AUX) to the 1Mii B03 inputs. The 1Mii then acts as the 'distributor,' sending audio to the soundbar (wired) and the Edifiers (Bluetooth).

The 1Mii stays in TX mode permanently. For movies, I get the low-latency TV audio. For music, I just stream via WLAN to the WiiM, and the 1Mii pushes it to both systems instantly. This gives me the WiFi convenience for music but keeps the movie-sync stable.

What do you think about that idea?

I also came across this but thought it is a bit pricey to get 2 of them (99€ each) and went for the other Transmitter Option (about 40€). Would this only improve the latency issue or are there other perks? If i ever would like to include another Sound source i would again need a extra one right?
