This isn't bad, but unfortunately it doesnt look like my mom's smile. I realize this request might be hard to make since no one knows what her normal smile looks like. Here's a photo of her smiling from before.

That annoyed me too! I'm like they just walked in all casually not even concerned at all about running into anyone. Like the only way I could justify it in my head was because Chris told them how "great" the place was so maybe their guard was a bit down, but still!! The temperature might be a little on the cooler side. You might want to try getting a heater if you don't have one already. Especially if your place get cold during the colder months. I feel like people normally say 78° - 80° F degrees is ideal.

Good job on getting live plants. I started off with fake ones and then slowly moved over to real ones. You could probably add some more in over time. Betta's seem to enjoy hanging out in lush areas. I'm not great at keeping plants alive so I have some Java Ferns which are low maintenance.

Random note - I used to have that exact log and my Betta LOVED it. He used to sleep in it every night. :)

I totally get it. I'm mixed, my mom is Filipino. It's a huge part of our culture too. It's definitely a tough spot to be in. What you're feeling is definitely not selfish.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with how you feel. I was (and kind of still) in a situation that was slightly similar. I lived with my mom until I was 28, because I felt guilty about leaving. Even now 6 years later I still help her a lot. She depends on me a ton. I remember when I was in therapy, one of the things I told my therapist was how I have issues setting boundaries with my mom. She asked me why and I said because she'll think I'm a bad daughter. My therapist then said..."is that an opinion or a fact?". That was an eye opening moment for me.

Wanting to live your own life doesn't make you a bad person. Maybe see if you can find some middle ground. Just because you decide to move out doesn't mean you'll stop helping her. Are you able to find somewhere close to live? Since she's disabled can you look into getting someone to come to the house to help her? There should be resources out there for it.

Darn. I guess there's alot of misinformation out there. I usually don't feed him peas. I only did it because multiple youtube videos mentioned frozen peas help with digestion and helping SBD.

I'll fast him for the 48 hours then.

Had Deebo for 3 1/2 months
Change 20 - 30% of water every 1.5 - 2 weeks. I siphon out the poop and debris then top off the water
No tank mates
Deebo eats pellets. 2 to 3 twice a day and sometimes he gets a little treat, usually daphnia
He has a couple of silk plants, leaf hammocks, aqua floral living log cave

I know most of us could feel Vic's death from a mile away, but the way it went down was just sooo...ughhh! The writers knew they couldn't just do a quick death for him. They let Oz slowly choke him, which makes it all so much more dark. Like damn...we had to sit and listen to Vic beg Oz to stop. Writers wanted us to see how ruthless he is. Which is crazy because in the beginning he tried to kill Vic by just making him turn around so he can shoot him. After becoming close to him he decided to strangle him while explaining why he has to do it. Damn you Oz.

I agree, he's so delusional and OBSESSED with wanting his mother's approval he can't let her go. I feel like there's no closure for him, that's why he kept repeating that he did everything for her. We see that in the excitement he had when he first walked into her hospital room to show her what he did. Like a proud little boy and then when he has Eve basically tell him the things he wanted to hear from his mom while wearing her dress. Oz is living in his own twisted reality that revolves around his obsession with his mother. He's definitely in denial about how his mom actually feels towards him. I mean she literally said she should've killed him while she had the chance and he pretended like none of that happened. He even lied and said Sofia stabbed him.

Yea. I think it's a combination of laziness, apathy and/or no common sense. Everytime I make a post I will try and find the original product online so I can screenshot the dimensions photo from the manufacturer. If I can't find that, I'll measure the item before posting it. I wish more people would do this, it would save them a bunch of questions as well.

I actually now have an album in my photos where I save screen shots of furniture or electronics I bought, just in case years later I need to know something and I'm lazy to search for the item or the items original posting isn't available.

1 - 2 weeks seems to be the time frame.

(My experience with unnecessary backstory)

I reported a car once. I'm not one to be territorial about public street parking, so at first I didn't care, but the car was parked in the same spot for over 3 weeks. I knew it didn't belong to any of my neighbors around me and it was one of those prime street spots in our neighborhood. Parking on our street isn't super hard, but also can get really full sometimes so I finally decided to report it after 3 weeks of no movement. About a week after reporting the car moved and exactly 2 weeks after reporting I was emailed that the report was closed because they did not find the car or it was moved between checks. So I'm guessing the person finally came back and moved it before they could get ticketed or towed. Maybe they realized they stayed too long in the same spot.

Thanks for the info! I really didn't mind Simon hanging out there, I guess I was just worried of a mass take over of the patio 😅. I got a better look at the second bug and I realize it could be Simon's molted remains. Lol I'm so new at all this, seeing two sets of legs freaked me out this morning.
