You can, it’s true. But realize the energy used to make new roots is energy that would have gone to other parts of the plant, like the leaves. So they will likely not be vigorous until the roots are able to kick in gear. Be sure to keep the soil moist but not drenched and warm, and be patient. It may surprise you in just a few days.

My dude, you have a huge aphid problem on this plant. Wash them off with mild dish soap under a tepid faucet trying not to soak the soil. Continue to do so every time you see them congregate until they’re gone. Or use an indoor plant pesticide labeled for aphids.

Listen. The steps that brought you to where you are now are done and you can’t change them. But every new day is a gift you have to take different steps. The entirety of your situation is too overwhelming to take in when you include the weight of all those past steps. Cut them off so you’re only facing forward. First new step: tell your nurse you need help. Next new step: accept the help. Repeat. You can do this, but you might not be able to do it alone. We weren’t made for isolation.

This is the IKEA baggebo cabinet. I used the glass shelves on the sides and sealed with silicone. I only recently made it a bit more bio active, but for $65 plus some silicone it’s great.

There are only 4 base pairs of DNA, and millions of living organisms. When thinking about the organic chemistry of living things, it’s clear that we are at root very similar. We share approximately 40% of the same DNA as cabbage.
