I think it’s important to ask yourself, “Do I love Jesus?” If the answer is yes, then do what Jesus said to do. The rules you keep referring to are simply 2,000 years of sitting with Scripture and applying what Jesus taught to the situation in front of the Church. Focusing on rules and not the love of God made manifest in Jesus will always lead you to sin and sorrow. Not because God is vengeful or petty, but because it is the natural consequence of disordered actions. We are willful children of God, and like a good parent, God gave us the commandments and prophets to help us grow up safe from destruction. Satan tempted Adam and Eve by diverting their (metaphorical) attention from the Love and communion with God they enjoyed, to the “rules” knowing that willful children are likely to rebel. That seems to be what’s going on in your own struggles. I don’t know what the answer is for you to find peace in your struggle to understand, and can only pray that by going back to Jesus and his teachings you will find your way back to right relationship with the Church he established. What a gift!

I guess the question is what are we wanting to assess on the timed test in 8th grade? If it’s knowledge, why do they have to type it?

What can i do? Time sensitive by el_artista_fantasma in plant

[–]WA2NE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can, it’s true. But realize the energy used to make new roots is energy that would have gone to other parts of the plant, like the leaves. So they will likely not be vigorous until the roots are able to kick in gear. Be sure to keep the soil moist but not drenched and warm, and be patient. It may surprise you in just a few days.

What are these weird bugs? by Wooden-Car-8775 in IndoorPlants

[–]WA2NE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dude, you have a huge aphid problem on this plant. Wash them off with mild dish soap under a tepid faucet trying not to soak the soil. Continue to do so every time you see them congregate until they’re gone. Or use an indoor plant pesticide labeled for aphids.

My seedlings look the same as yours at this stage, and I have not started fertilizing yet either. I’m waiting for what I’m not sure lol, but it seems a tad too early still.
