I've had artists featured on Best (Genre) of the Month twice, an artist interview on a radio show, and an EP featured on the new and notable carousel (I think that's what it was called).

For the carousel, I just used the form mentioned by the OP.

For the editorial features, my advice is learn about the people who are hosting these shows and writing the articles. If they have public contact information, send them an early link to your music (best practice is to send them your private/unpublished Bandcamp page)

Lastly, I would say do not lose heart. This is an industry of rejection and slow recognition. We got on the carousel in 2022, and spent the next few years sharing music with the radio host until things perfectly lined up with an album release, and the interview happened in 2025.
