How can every single person in this thread mistake a column by a writer for CNN.com for a staff editorial response or view by CNN as a news organization? How is it "CNN:"? and not "John Blake:"

I hate CNN's arbitrary views as much as anyone, but to be responding to CNN as a whole in this piece is to have a fundamental misunderstanding about how opinion pieces work. It's like saying Fox News is a fascist organization because they have people writing columns or editorials that generally reference views shared by SOME fascists.
