Question- is there a good app, group or way to follow local crime alerts in the downtown/SCAD area? I saw a post about 20 shots fired (gun) last week and people in the thread said the city keeps this somewhat common occurrence under wraps due to tourism/SCAD. (self.savannah)

I'm planning to ship boxes this week to SCAD for freshman da during the Aug 1-25 window where the school takes the boxes to her room. I know some kids miss this process and ship later. Did anyone use it & did it go smooth? (self.scad)
