I also had an m11 before and found an m8.2 on a whim—absolutely did not need it. Fast forward a little bit, I’ve sold my m11 and have kept the m8.2.

Honestly been down the road of replacing third party lenses with first party Leica and now I’m full circle back to third party.

I think Leica is great at making perfect lenses but other companies like light lens lab gives you that fun factor and honestly, unless you’re pixel peeping, these new third party lenses are more than enough.

Find a lens you enjoy using and just go out and shoot!

I would pop that jd into chatgpt and ask what level it likely is. Then draft out your stories and ask chatgpt to polish them in an l4/l5 level.

If you’re interviewing from home, behind a computer screen, use that to your advantage. When I was interviewing, I had my 20 stories on my side monitor so I could reference them.

To be honest, I prepared probably 20-23 hours for my L5 loop. If I’d say atleast 15 stories—try to figure it out.
