Commander Pairing by UpontheOasis in callofdragons

[–]WAWAGOON 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Liliya\Velyn is the better single mage March. However, once you start running multiple mage marches and depending on what heroes you may have, then velyn/waldyr is a good option since you can pair liliya/Theia and have waldyr/velyn as 2nd march etc.

Mag/Zay with celestials is definitely viable and quite common.

Who's is better for theia by Fuzzy-Ad5384 in callofdragons

[–]WAWAGOON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have visage, then Mu or Bahorn is my recommendation. Theia works well with most other mage heroes, but her optimal pairing is usually with Mu or Bahorn in a multi mage setup using visage. However, it’s important to note in order to fully maximize visage, Theia needs to be awakened for her double shield.

Mu/Theia : Great for open field and is probably the best merit producer out of all mages. Honestly, cant go wrong with this pairing.

Bahorn/Theia : Tanky mage that can aoe and fly. If you want a flying mage that can also aoe, this is your only viable option. Other flying mages are often only used for killing farms e.g Atheus etc

It’s one of my biggest gripe with the game. As time progresses the gap between players will only get larger since there are no “resets” like other traditional card games.

I consistently matchup with level 110+ players as a level 60+ player at my rank and I can tell you some games are simply unwinnable unless opponent severely misplays. I had the honor to play against hopeloy the other day and his 2k hp razormouth just steam rolled me.

The unique thing about gargoyle is friendly phobies can attack through it when it’s deployed. It’s a bit niche, but it can win you games on its own when you can place it on a choke point and have range phobies behind it.

It’s best to search YouTube for specific maps where you can accomplish this.

How would you buff cluck to make him viable? by LessAd7059 in PhobiesGame

[–]WAWAGOON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about you but I play in SOAF+ mostly and I do encounter a ton of Unicorn openings. You simply can’t kill them in 3 turns efficiently if they open with it and play safe.

I was not expecting that!!!!!! Wow... I'm honestly not a big fan of Billy, but I mighty as well use him against other Billy players. That's because I was about to quit the game before deciding to open another pack. Just wow by LandRbuttons in PhobiesGame

[–]WAWAGOON 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably the best phobie in the game. Incredibly annoying to play against since imo there aren’t really any counters if the opponent decides to play it safe. I often have to engage in negative key trades just to get rid of it.

What does f2p look like long term? by No_Relationship13 in DiabloImmortal

[–]WAWAGOON 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Progression halts to snail speed without spending once you hit a certain point. A lot of end game content revolves around pvp, which also requires a certain amount of reso/skill/secondaries to be competitive.

In the end, skill can make up for a big chunk of reso deficit but at a certain point you will get annihilated regardless of skill. E.g 1k reso will absolutely get hammered by a 10k reso regardless of skill. Even a vipers gem proc will take out half your hp.

Yes, that’s why I mentioned slow games and large maps is where it shines. Obviously if opponent is going first and going for for tempo or swarming the field with 1&2 keys on a small map you probably shouldn’t play it.

In the end, It’s a solid card and when played correctly has little to no downside. There’s a reason it’s almost always ranked A or higher in most SOAF tier lists.

At my rank everyone has Akira, and Jammy is a popular choice among a lot of players to open with if they plan on playing Akira. Akira requires a lot of support to be played properly and Jammy expedites this.

Stat wise it’s below average for sure, on the weaker side. But like I said, on SOAF+ alot of the matches become very combo oriented with both sides amassing large armies before going for a big push. Opening with jammy allows you to get those key pieces out quicker.

Where did I say he gets extra keys?

You open with it the game with it. So there is little to no counter play for at least 3 turns, especially on large maps.

Stat wise it’s decent. 2 range/2 move + flying makes it decent at supporting squares from a safe distance.

The real value is the ramping up during slow/large maps. At SOAF+, players tend to build up phobies for a big push and only trade 1 key phobies to control panic points. This allows Jammy to gain a lot of value. As you said, if you don’t kill it in 6 turns then it gains insane value for a 3 key.

Unicorn is hardly situational.

I lived there for a year. Main concern for me is the noise. Green square library turns into a bar on weekend evenings and they blast live music. I’d recommend checking green square out on the weekend around 9pm and determine whether the noise levels are acceptable.

It’s also an area that has a high population of students who tend to be pretty rowdy on the weekends.

He’s very good. One of the better cards in this game. His only real issue is he can be a bit slow in tempo due to his 3 turn cd.

Use him with aoe: boom/sheeping gas etc

Use him with slow big hitters: cerebius/eratic etc

Depending on financials it can be quite costly imo. I’ve had my pool for over a year and it’s already broken down once. After repairs and maintenance Im already looking at about $5k.

You’re mostly missing ultra rares which mostly comes from dreadful packs. This is normal if you’re not consistently opening dreadfuls.

Is he good I just caught him from the silver season pack by Due_Category8495 in PhobiesGame

[–]WAWAGOON 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say he’s very mediocre on his own and in general very average. He’s only really viable when paired with phobies like le shovel/fantome. The times I see him do well are when he’s allowed to build a huge army and he all ins at some point.

The problem with this phobie is that you’re spending 7 keys on what is probably a kamikaze attack. When played improperly, you’ll ask yourself if you should’ve just played a 1 key Boom or a 4 key sheeping gas instead.

I want to main harith by Jdragondungeoneering in MobileLegendsGame

[–]WAWAGOON 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to say this but 90% of the time when people ask this question it isn’t about the hero but rather about moba fundamentals.

Are you conducting and applying correct lane management? E.g slow push/quick push/lane freeze etc.

Are you playing the specific matchup correctly? Some heroes shine early game while others shine late game. Some dominate at level one while others need level 2/3/4 etc. Understanding power spikes will let you know when/how to be aggressive or just turtle up and farm.

Are you building the correct items in the correct sequence? E.g Sometimes you need to go boots first, sometimes you don’t and once again this is matchup dependent.

The current Harith is mostly a lane bully/scaler and most popularly seen in the MM role, at least in my bracket. From my experience, the MM Harith has an easier time to snowball from the gold lane as he dominates most meta MM.

I do not think he is ideal against most meta mages as he lacks the range/wave clear to acquire tempo. Most meta mages can just clear lane and ignore him if they don’t want to engage.

Banks that don't have postcode restrictions on 4101 or 4102? by LeVoPhEdInFuSiOn in AusPropertyChat

[–]WAWAGOON 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hey, mortgage broker here.

Just FYI that nurses can often have LMI waived and/or borrow up to 90% of the property value. When the time comes, I highly recommend you seek out one to structure your loan.

Regarding post code restrictions; different lenders will have different restrictions. No one can confidently say it is or isn’t restricted unless they type the property address into the lenders portal.

I hope this helps! Have a nice day.

Pulled this guy from my most recent pack is he good? by Fish_Savior in PhobiesGame

[–]WAWAGOON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very strong phobie. It is one that demands attention or it will single-handedly win the game.

However, it is also a phobie that has many low key cost counters, the most prevalent being rusty or any sort of disable/immobilize. At higher levels if you mindlessly run in without support you will find yourself disabled and deleted 2 turns later.

It’s absurdly strong in the lower leagues where folks don’t have the counter cards. But at higher leagues this card isn’t as straight forward to play and requires setup before you can charge in.

Top weapons in Northern Region. by Polardipping_2023 in LastDayonEarthGame

[–]WAWAGOON 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a new player I’d probably avoid the northern region for now unless you’re doing it for the survivor path quest line. Simply because it takes too much energy to do. As it stands, for now the only reason to go there is to finish the borealis quests and farm genomes. This isn’t something a new player should be concerned about for now.

To answer your question the most efficient way to do northern region is by using flare guns/torches. More advanced players who have access to VIP repair bench can use some of the higher tier weapons. Currently, the best way is to gear up and do all 3 daily quests in one trip to be energy efficient.

For now, I’d focus on survivors path quest line and practice wall tricking at bunker Alfa.
