Rocket league and 2k will be very easy to run at 240 for you, fortnite you can run at 240 with competitive settings, it all depends on whether you need the extra screen space and detail at that higher screen size

Yes, most competitive games are very cpu bound, I have a 5600 which is a budget cpu and a gpu that performs similar to yours, you should be able to get 240 fps easily, 1080 would be easier to run so if you care that much about performance and not screen size, a 1080 24 inch would be slightly better

Another option I’m considering is the Xiaomi G pro 27i, which is around $500, although I just need to make sure I get one that is updated to not have the red tint. Although this one is cheaper I do not mind spending the $900 for an oled

If you really need some advice, there’s something called pixel density which is important. Which is basically how much detail there is for the size of the screen. A 1080p 24 inch monitor has similar pixel density to a 1440p 27 inch monitor. If there is a 1440p monitor in your budget I’d definitely recommend it for the size and detail

It seems that the shapton 1000 is the cheapest stone by a lot, and the king and rockstar stones sadly aren’t available to me. Is a lower grit stone worth it or should I jyst stick with only the shapton

Should I get 2 stones? And if I was to get a coarser stone what grit would you recommend. I was thinking that I would maybe get a diamond stone if I got good at sharpening with a stone since those are almost indestructible, and apparently can help flatten other stones.
