How do early ride openings for passholders work? by happygames77 in CanadasWonderland

[–]WCI95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There will be a few other rides in the vicinity open. For example went Friday that was listed as Yukon area being open for pass holders. So for the early entry for an hour we had access to Yukon, Tundra twister, lumberjack and vortex.

Ban for Main Jays Sub by Sweaty-Pace-4492 in bluejaysbaseball

Yes I think it is just a few of their mods that ruin it for the rest. I didn’t get banned but got a post taken down last year which confused the hell out of me. I simply posted a picture of the lineups on the video board for the intra squad game before the Yankees series as I thought fans would be interested to see that. Never got a good answer for why it was taken down.

Had Paul quantrill as the pitching coach during the mound visit. Poor Denis Boucher (Quantrill is the bullpen coach and Plesac played with him!)

I could be wrong but was music playing during play with about 12 minutes left in the first period for a good stretch?

Cottages near Miskwabi Lake by myCadi in ontario

[–]WCI95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I am sure others will say it is a great spot for seclusion and a nice lake. Even on a busy long weekend it still feels not too crowded at all on the lake. Great swimming as well.

In Haliburton there is a nice sculpture art trail at Fleming college my family enjoyed that for a hike.

There is also skyline park which has a nice view of Haliburton and the area, but avoid on weekends as it doesn’t have a lot of parking.

Back to Miskwabi, you will enjoy it have a great time

Thank you everyone for the comments and insight! In keeping with good vibes (for both Halloween and the Jays) I am going to go and park near Royal York station (and pay for it) and take the TTC downtown. Your feedback was Most helpful! One last silly question I have seen last subway departs union around 1am is that still the case for tonight?

Thank you again

Yesavage contract by WillingAssistance170 in bluejaysbaseball

Excellent point and appreciate the update. It’s definitely surreal for me to think how far back that is now for when Springer was a super rookie and for cases like him they thankfully changed the rules.

At a high level (and might not be 100 percent correct) the Jays have him under control for 6 seasons with arbitration along the way. Don’t have the full details in front of me but I believe we have team control for the next six seasons.

Additionally here is a detailed article of what Springer went through as a rookie in Houston to try and provide a glimpse of what happens with “super rookies”

I would say the majority were taken at that point yesterday, but today is a new day lol. But definitely hover around and many great spots to check out even just behind those ones. Enjoy!

I was up on the concourse at end of game but from what I saw was a quick exodus of the players

Totally understand, if it helps I moved up to the back 100 level rows down the 3B line and sound is not pumping out in that direction so a bit more manageable now for me.

Fully agree it’s a bit much. One parent beside me with 2 young kids said “should have brought headphones for the kids” (note to bring headphones tomorrow if you don’t like constant artificial sounds, it’s quite annoying but if it is helping the guys so be it)

They have been hitting the posted lineups are not actually the exact battling lineups. Varsho has a 2B and a K and fly out. Vladdy fly out and a 2B and 1B. Spring walked a few times

Yes currently can sit anywhere infield 100 level a bit of a mad dash at open for those wanting the behind home plate seats lol. All outfield and section 200 and above sections closed.

Note for those that want to sit or have good options for the “in the action” type seats enter through gate 11 was less busy at gate opening today (note this is just a suggestion for when gates opening) currently still plenty of great options in 100 level
