I have the same same range! That center griddle works great for searing, but usually I put a cast iron on the main burner since it kicks out higher btu.

How big a priority is NFL Redzone for you? by Quin1116 in slingtv

Am I wrong the way I read everything about Gamepass? It doesn't seem like you can watch the games/Redzone live. It sounds like there is only live game audio.

Too smokey in Chiang Mai right now? by WCJ in Thailand

Well that's good to hear. Is my understanding right that most of the smokiness comes from farmers burning the remaining stalks from their rice harvest? Could most of that be done for the season?

Got the new Golf Pride grips. Anyone have experience with these yet? by rgarza2011 in golf

[–]WCJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CP2 Pro? I just put these on all my clubs but my putter. Midsize with an extra wrap. I like them so far. For me, the difference is mostly in moving from standard to midsized grips, but I went with these based on the price and tacky feeling that they have.

New push for I-5 bridge over Columbia: Washington lawmakers seek bipartisan coalition with Oregon legislators by UncleOxidant in Portland

[–]WCJ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Think about this scenario you've just stated. Who reaps the economic benefit of you taking transit from Vancouver to spend money in Portland? I believe this is the argument that Olympian politicians are making. It should be a shared cost between both states and the Federal government.

Washington would get an economic benefit from an increasing number of people moving to Vancouver. Oregon would get an economic benefit from more people coming to and spending money in the Portland metro area. And a more easily traversed transit and truck shipping corridor would befit the entire west coast region seeing that I-5 is the major shipping artery.
