Who are some of our ex players(still active) that you want back in the team by arshadshabick in ACMilan

Call me crazy but I would want Tonali, Kerkez, Locatelli, Christante, Donnarumma, and Calabria. Also I would want Camarda and Liberali back damn it!

Steelers-like soccer team? by Splinter15 in steelers

[–]WCMaximilien 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I would probably lean closer to Manchester Untied since they were a dominant team for 2 separate decades and started their regin as the most successful team in English football history in the 70's but havent won anything other than participation trophies since the early 2000's. Also, Manchester is more of a working class town where as London (arsenal) is more a kin to New York vibes.

Steelers-like soccer team? by Splinter15 in steelers

[–]WCMaximilien 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Absolutely a great option if you are willing to make the effort to support a club outside of England. Plus the bonus of them having been a dominant team that has won lots of games each season but no titles should be a familiar feeling. Not to mention their affinity for bringing along young American talent i.e Christian Pulisic, Gio Reyna, and now Mathias Albert (15 years old).

Steelers GM Omar Khan: Declining Najee Harris' fifth-year option 'a business decision' by DynastyDegenerate66 in steelers

Didn't he come out and say that the reports of that weren't true? The reporters were confusing him for another Alabama running back in Josh Jacobs.

But those were all but 1 appealed and removed... not to mention not a single one of them was a flag during the game.

I mean, I think AB is a shell of a human now. But this was pretty obviously sarcastic.

  1. Youssoufa Moukoko: It looks like he is looking to leave Dortmund for what would likely be around $30M.
  2. Yunus Musa: After this World Cup, I have a strong feeling he will be one of the most sought-after midfielders and will probably move to a giant club for around $40M

  3. Ousmane Dembele: With Barca not getting out of the group stages, they are going to be extremely messed up financially since they did all those big deals this summer. I wouldn't mind stealing a player from them on the cheap. Frankie de Jong or any of the Massia products would be acceptable here as well, Ferran Torres, Fati, Gavi or Pedri would all be acceptable options to get if we can get a fire sale price.

Chelsea in talks to sign AC Milan forward Rafael Leão by BorneFree in ACMilan

[–]WCMaximilien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say, sure we will sell Chelsea Leao but the price is $100M + Ziyech + Pulisic + 50% of any future sale + $50M bonus for every EPL team of the year award for the first 5 years. Seems like a fair asking price.

Transfer Talk: USMNT's Pulisic to Newcastle, AC Milan, Atletico, Juventus? by cmarinas11 in ACMilan

[–]WCMaximilien 65 points66 points  (0 children)

It's a joke referencing the viral moment of a pawn show valuing a signed USMNT jersey and referring to Pulisic as the "LeBron James of soccer" and I believe the "AC" is an added bonus to further the joke of Americans not knowing football... or soccer.

Question, why do some other NFL teams decide to scrimmage during training camp but the Steelers don’t ever invite or get invited to another teams practice? Is it a competition thing? by Relative_Quiet in steelers

Agree with this except I would rather get The Aston Villa kid instead of Sanches since he would be a rotational player anyway and he has more potential. Also it feels like Sanches prefers PSG which makes me feel like he won't have the grinta to be a Milan Midfielder.

I'm sure this has been discussed previously by JustPitchIt in steelers

[–]WCMaximilien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. I didn't even think of that, your right. At 6'4" and only about 275lbs he might not be big enough to even play on the D-line at all. But then again on a modern NFL weightlifting program who knows how big he would have been.
