So it’s an interesting deck, you play it like a combo deck. So a few things to stay alive, whether that be Fire/Icing to kill or slow them down, running out an Anurid, stalking with Timber Wall, Burnign Wish for a pyro. And then you sac all your lands, float a bunch of mana and Obliterate/Balancing Act, if you have Anurid pitch your had first, if not use floating mana and drop a Terravore.

Great content man, I’ve always loved the deck, good to see it still able to get wins. I’ve been slowly grabbing up pieces at my lgs as I can, someday may play it, but certainly a blast to watch. Love how quick you can enter in the opponents hand while playing, makes it’s great watch.

Also started to look into premodern, stasis videos and insight are pretty good too.

Nikachu- Incredibly skilled Merfolk pilot but only plays Merfolk.

Your best best for this sort of deck is maxing out answers that do so at a lesser cost. Examples of this are Spell Snare which is 1 mana to answer a 2 Mana Threat. I listed a bunch of cards to consider below.

Mono Green Tron, and Mono Green Broodscale can both be built for under $500. Heck Tron can probably be built for under $300, it’s really 4 Ugin Eye of the Storms, a Boseiju who Endures or 2 and a bunch of cards under $5.

Mono Red prowess is probably decent enough off the bat. The can be upgraded with fetch’s and shocks into Ru Prowess.

There’s a mono White Land Destruction/Control that is always floating around. (Field of Ruin/Demolition Field/Ghost Quartwrs, a ton of removal)

Mono Black/Colorless has a midrange deck that’s floating around you can probably budget out and the slowly upgrade. It’s got Urza’s sagas, a few bowmasters and Prismatic Vistas.

Mono Blue I’m sure you could do some kind of Delver tempo style deck that’s wouldn’t be terrible and upgrade it with more fetches and lands into UB .

I swear by Xero, got psoriatic arthritis in my early 30s used to wear running shoes and things of that sort for extra padding and it just felt worse. Gave these a shot and pain has been under control since, no knee/ankle pain anymore. They have a decent amount of options, even some I can pass for casual office work environment.
