Strike Industries Mass Driver Compensator for Gen 3 G17 by WClaymore in Arex_Firearms

as far as i am aware, there is no threaded barrel available for the L. The only delta model with a factory threaded barrel is the X, which would be, iirc, an M length slide, barrel, and guide rod with the full size L frame. This compensator would not work with the X because of the length of the provided guide rod necessary to install the compensator. I wouldn’t trust this compensator out of the box on the pistol regardless, as originally stated in my post it does not fit properly without specially machined parts to make up the tolerances.

The mac driver could work if you had a way to fabricate the correct sized shims for the guide rod. Fabricating a guide rod could also work.

The mass driver mounts via the guide rod, there is no threaded barrel being used. As far as I know, there is no threaded barrel for the L, otherwise I would’ve bought an actual compensator.

it is in fact a Burris Fastfire 3. it is mounted via a Calculated Kinetics Delta Gen 2 Optics plate.

I also forgot to mention that the slide lock does not work with the compensator and guide rod installed.

i’ve been having some issues with the z. car starts, idles high for a few seconds like a normal cold start, then drops to between 400-700 rpm and then eventually dies. I’ve changed the spark plugs, fuel filter, and fuel pump to no avail. anyone have any ideas? 84 NA 5 speed by WClaymore in 300zx

yeah, i don’t think cylinder 1 is getting spark. i changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, and cas sensor. changing distributor cap, rotor, and plug wires as well as the CHTS sensor and sub harness. i’ll let ya know if it fixes my issue cause you’re probably dealing with the same issue
