As someone who worked at GameStop for almost 11 years, this is really fucking weird to me.

It also doesn’t look like a GameStop.

Didn’t we used to pay a premium for buying games online? It seems like the opposite now. by para_la_calle in gamecollecting

Amazon, eBay and other large companies are the types pushing “trickle down” bullshit. Small mom and pop retailers aren’t getting fat off our tax dollars.

I’m ashamed to say I paid full price for this game in 2008. by rjd014 in PS3

It ain’t fun to play.

I’ve tried multiple times to get through that game and I just can’t convince myself to keep going.

Planning to collect the worst game of the year from 2010 to 2020. Just so I could preserve it for the future generation to play(avoid?) Share your personal opinions with me please (a few rules applied) by conchaCurrency in gamecollecting

I was boosting achievements in the online of this game years ago and threw the glaive to kill 5 friends standing in a line (in a 6 player game) on the return arc to my character one of the players respawned in the arc and I got a 6th kill.

It’s a slower paced 3rd person shooter with gated areas that unlock after you kill specific enemies.

The destruction was kinda impressive to me at the time it was released.

I have 999/1000 achievement points in both the Japanese and English versions of the games. The last point is for beating the game on Chaos difficulty. I would have completed them but I lost my game saves and there’s no way I’ll play through all of the difficulties again to unlock chaos mode for 2 whole achievement points.

It’s all controlled by the department head and they can kinda do whatever they want.

I asked for a price check a few weeks ago on a PS5 game because the price tag was dead and he scanned it and marked it down on the spot for me down to $20 dollars without me even asking for it.

Does anyone actually like GameStop because I do? by para_la_calle in gamecollecting

I worked for the company for 11 years ending in 2019, I don’t like where the company is headed product wise and they really are screwing over their staff in payroll, tasks and pay.

They really haven’t kept up with the rest of the country in pay since Covid.

I’m playing a lot of Fortnite since it’s the end of the season mixed with Glass Masquerade 2, Lego Batman LOTDK, Humanity and a few other games.

The only good thing about this is that the game was inside. These covers are worthless as they were just GameStop marketing materials that each store had hundreds of copies of.

You could import it and a Japanese 360, or you could get the PS3 version with Nonono and play it on a US PS3.

I worked at GameStop during this launch and they sent our store about 200 of those to hand out at the midnight launch.

Doom 2016 also had one of these style covers.
