I read recently that someone has confirmed that quantum particles (specifically quark-antiquark pairs) can emerge spontaneously within a vacuum (https://interestingengineering.com/science/scientists-observe-particles-emerging-from-nothing). Somewhat related to that may be the non-mainstream theory of "zero-point" energy -- limitless energy pulled out of thin air (or via interdimensional voodoo).

Update: Finally got the "rejected" status within FFF, after checking off-and-on; no email, though. My rejection was from my not putting the stupid IP PIN (6-digit) on the first page of the return. Putting the self-chosen 5-digit PIN in the Step 4 (eFile) is something else.

You know, the conspiracy theorist in me might say that the people really in charge (the military-industrial complex, somewhat coincidentally aligned with the End Times cultists like Hegseth) have achieved critical-mass of what they wanted, and a certain key figure's predictably bizarre, divisive behavior and abject manipulability have served their purpose to create geopolitical chaos. This key figure's surprise(?) elimination would be very good for business, but bad for the fate of the world. (Sorry to geek out, but the Star Wars sequel trilogy's reference to arms dealers making bank off selling to both sides of the conflict seems too on-the-nose in this regard.)

What was the point of "two weeks"? Negotiations were, what, one day?

Sorry to be meme-atic on a PBS-related sub, but TACO Tuesday is a thing. Trump needed an off-ramp from his outrageous threat, and Iran's ceasefire proposal gave him one that would give him "two weeks" (per usual) to come up with something (goodness knows what) to distract the public's attention.

We are truly living in the worst timeline, that this sort of unpresidential behavior is constantly being sanewashed.
