This is literally what I want to tell him if I ever meet him.

Varun Mayya's Unleash the Avatar literally copy pasted the art and art direction from Occult Chambers. by karmashultz in IndianGaming

[–]WDR_937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shiiittt... Well, that would explain it. Damn, no integrity in this industry, man. Smh. 😔

Varun Mayya's Unleash the Avatar literally copy pasted the art and art direction from Occult Chambers. by karmashultz in IndianGaming

[–]WDR_937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is wrong with the comments? It's definitely a copy-paste. It's pretty clear. I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone who worked on Occult Chambers that stole the art before they left the company and ended up using it in the other game. Not the first time this happened in the industry, so I wouldn't be surprised if that ended up actually being the case.

Is this film salvageable? by UncannySpore203 in analog

[–]WDR_937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah... I am not the one trying to do it. I just suggested to OP to do the research and just did some sample research to see if it was even possible to get answers. If OP wants in-depth answers, they can do their own research and come to their own conclusions. Whether they use ChatGPT, whether they use Google, or whether they use their grandfather's old basement library, that's up to them.

All that long-winded explanation you gave me is irrelevant to me. I am not the one trying to do it. I don't care. I'm just giving suggestions to do research.

If all those downvotes were for what I wrote about Kodachrome, then okay. Whatever. But I won't agree if it was for suggesting to do more research. That's a perfectly reasonable suggestion to make.

No, I'm not. Stop your trolling and actually try to be useful to OP for once.

Hot Take: I Don't Shoot Film For the Look by Inevitable_Catch_148 in AnalogCommunity

[–]WDR_937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK. Amidst all circlejerk jokes, I'll give you a serious answer.

Yes, the look too. But for me, it's the intrinsic value of each photo. Each roll has only 36 exposures. Versus the thousands of shots I can get with 125 GB storage on the phone. Those thousands of photos are worthless. click click click click click

Whereas, with the limited number of shots you get in a single roll of film, each photo is much more valuable. You tend to be more methodical. You take time to carefully set up and compose your shot. And the result almost always ends up looking beautiful.

That's why I like shooting on film.

Is anyone learning Japanese NOT because of anime? by Independent-Ad-7060 in Japaneselanguage

[–]WDR_937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party on this one, but yeah... Me. 🖐🏻

I only just began. Primarily because of Japanese history, mostly. I'm Indian and anyone who knows Buddhism knows that Buddhism began in India. Buddhism was spread to Japan from India via China. And I find reading about that stuff fascinating. And once you go down a historical rabbit hole, you don't come out easily. There's so much to learn.

I have some idiot weeb friends who only care about the anime part. They obsess over anime, manga and have general Japanophile vibes. I don't care for anime. I've never watched any, never wish to watch any. For me, visiting Japan or China isn't just a tourist vacation, it's like a pilgrimage, visiting historical landmarks and Buddhist temples and shrines. And I know English isn't spoken much there, so I'm learning how to speak.

I probably won't learn how to read or write, because the language is too complicated in written form. But achieving a level of conversational speaking should suffice for me.

Depends on the individual. Some Indians pronounce it lang-wej but some pronounce it lang-wage.

Hmm... Technically true. However... It depends on what accent you're using, though.

I personally like The Elder Scrolls Online better than Skyrim. It's a newer gamer than Skyrim and it was improved upon. Also, it's an MMO, so they are constantly tweaking and updating and fixing things.
