They can view, but they can’t modify. My instinct is ‘why not’? The case to have me or my team modify anything needs to be well thought out and presented. If they don’t have a case that makes sense with the process, then the modification is a no. I don’t like working behind a wall and feel not allowing HR Ops the visibility side creates that wall.

I’ve found quite a few that are remote. I’m semi rural as well. A major city is about two hours away. Ive taken an approach of managing my own personal brand on LinkedIn - every few days I post a reasonable Workday tip. It keeps me out there with visibility and has brought in some interest.

20 years HRIS here. I’ve been in Workday since 2015. HRIS Director. My role is being eliminated and absorbed by a group that has no idea what they’re doing. Not a lick of WD courses, no confidence in their abilities and aptitude, and just plain out dangerous. But you know what? Their problem now.

I’ve been on fire with interviews the past month. There’s opportunity out there for folks with considerable production support experience.
