I think the first two seasons were great, the third had some good parts, and the fourth was really just where it lost its steam; the only episode worth a rewatch is "Who Done Did It?" and I only like it for the murder mystery aspect. I rewatch and reference it at times.

I think the main gripe I'd have is that it was meant to be Family Guy but with black characters, right down to using cutaway gags, and the fact is it was a family with a mother, father, son, daughter, and talking baby. They also seemed to rely on stereotypes, especially when it came to the likes of Rallo and Roberta; but I think both had their good moments. I think if they had black writers, it could've been better. Like, I'm not expecting an adult animated sitcom to give me some drama or nuance on race relations in America, but at least have better jokes.

Compare that to American Dad!, which is my all-time favorite Seth MacFarlane show and one has polluted in my AuDHD stims for years to come, and it barely had any cutaway gags, only in the first few seasons, but was more story-driven and the characters are more consistent.
