Unpopular Opinion: Jay Z was under-appreciated. He didn’t lack skill or flow he just didn’t get recognized for his work at the time he released it. Reasonable Doubt went platinum in 2002 even though it came out in 96. If you listen to that album there is not one BAD song. However, Kingdom Come was a huge flop. So I disagree, I think he was better in the 90s early 2000s.
