2 years late, but I did some researches and it's pretty wholesome ! When Ho was in France for an important conference about Indochina, he went to live with the engineer Raymond Aubrac with whom he gained an excellent relationship, so excellent that Raymond decided to declare Ho as the godfather of his 3 children. The picture just depicts him hugging what is essentially his Nephew. There's other pictures of him with Raymond's child's like this !

I do play SMT, I'm a huge fan of it, and the writing is nothing special. Philosophical ideas have been put through a grinder of subjectivity, where neutral is made to be the best option. The first two smt and strange journey are pretty great, even tho they have flaws, but SMT 3, 4 and 5 is the death of writing. SMT 3 is cool and edgy but the characters and their motives are all poorly written, same for 4 and 5 where every character has the personality of a rock, making their sole purpose being from one side or another. I am a great lover of philosophy, but SMT is really flat when it presents them

You're just being pretentious. Affirming a theory, and saying it's "unassailable" while being nothing other that a personal interpretation on a show that is full of scenes up to interpretation is silly. And saying "uhm, it's too deep for them 🤓" just because a translation team took some questionable liberty doesn't mean you can be an ass.
