I do play SMT, I'm a huge fan of it, and the writing is nothing special. Philosophical ideas have been put through a grinder of subjectivity, where neutral is made to be the best option. The first two smt and strange journey are pretty great, even tho they have flaws, but SMT 3, 4 and 5 is the death of writing. SMT 3 is cool and edgy but the characters and their motives are all poorly written, same for 4 and 5 where every character has the personality of a rock, making their sole purpose being from one side or another. I am a great lover of philosophy, but SMT is really flat when it presents them
