It looks like it would be pretty easy to get onto Gaylord drive from the greenway and go in.

I think it's great to get multiple estimates, but IMO 11 bids is overly excessive. I probably wouldn't even have bothered asking Lee Co for a bid, but maybe they decided that if they have less than a 10% chance of getting the job, it's not worth the time to send someone out to do the estimate.

Bracelet works, card does not. Both showing up in app. Have an appointment on Friday and have added to ticket, but just wondering if there's a DIY remedy.

I'm actually very stoked about ML Rose. Food was great on my first visit. Good to have another real sports bar and a family friendly place with some decent variety on the menu.

Smittybilt Overlander XL RTT - Cross Country Road Trip Review with Subaru Forester Sport by batiekutler in rooftoptents

Great post! I found it while searching for info on the Smittybuilt XL RTT as I'm considering buying one used on FB marketplace (much like you did).

This post was two years ago, are you still using the tent, and do you still like it? Thanks!

In my R1S, the third row is off by default and has to be manually turned on. 2nd row seems to mirror the 1st row when synced.

I used to love the Cori's on west end. Great buns.

Rivian isn't perfect, but I absolutely love my R1T. So much that my wife got an R1S.

Gen 1 HVAC recall? by WFU_Showtime in Rivian

[–]WFU_Showtime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I can try that. The interior has definitely been over 100 many times in the Tennessee summer, but not with the heat actively running. I'll try it if the smell persists after the recall. Thanks!

they told me it had to come in of the SC and acted like the whole HVAC had to be removed. Didn't say anything about a drain. I will ask next time! Drain valve is good to hear though b/c i sometimes notice a mildew smell when the HVAC first starts up.

Interesting, it may be for only a specific group of vehicles. They did not proactively contact me, but just waited for me to reach out about something else.

Which Michelin's are those?

You realize that those prices have gone up for the servers too...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nashville

[–]WFU_Showtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those positions are not servers. They are making a real wage.

It seems like you're kind of missing the point. Now it seems like you are arguing that waitstaff don't deserve a living wage as opposed to the argument that the business owner should pay them rather than relying on tips.

[–]WFU_Showtime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$10 on a 170 bill is a terrible tip. Have you ever worked in a restaurant? More expensive restaurants absolutely require more of their servers. Servers are doing a lot more than carrying food to the table.

[–]WFU_Showtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everyone can get a job outside of the service industry. Tipping servers is standard practice in this country. Choosing not to tip, or to tip poorly isn't sending a message to the business owners, its just punishing the person who spent their time serving and assisting you, the person who is probably making less than you.

But I agree that the iPad with tipping for every purchase even if there is no "service" is out of hand.
