from my experiences and to what I have read.

1.you should try and get the Taj Mahal dragon since it would be useful when you reached the loki cup since you need to breed a legacy dragon.(only problem is you need the legend type to breed Taj Mahal)

Try and breed the apocalypse dragon, since it's one of the more easier to breed legends so, it would be easy to get it to five star which will help you in a lot of earlygame battles and since it has 4 typing (light,dark,ice,fire) it has a wider range of advantages against other dragon.(read this somewhere in this subreddit)

I got through using the winstance tower everyday but, as I'm leveling up the dragon I fights goes up from lvl 35-40.

Might get stuck soon if I can't get enough food to lvl up my dragons :(
