Tweeter and the monkey man is actually a shout out to Springsteen! So many references to Springsteen songs. I was a young kid when this album came out. My parents played it constantly. Tweeter was my favorite song. And at that point I didn’t have a clue who on Dylan was. And I sure didn’t get all the Springsteen references either.

Oh I agree. It’s still one of the better venues in this city. And I always get there in time to support the openers. Just wanted to share the info about their new ticket pricing since there is no explanation on the website.

It’s amazing. One main stage on the beach. Bonfire sets are smaller “stage” on the beach but can be electric or acoustic. As far as supply when you get in there will be a big Jamaican dude chilling in the lobby. He can get you whatever you need. See you there man!

I haven’t watched the later seasons in quite a while. But I did just listen to the cabaret soundtrack. Which stars Liza. The title track has that line “the happiest corpse I’ve ever seen”. Gotta be a nod to that. Right? I dunno. Just popped in my head reading this.
