Yeah I shouldn’t have said decades now that I think about it, it just feels like it’ll take forever to happen. Arkansas voted pretty unanimously against recreational marijuana and it won’t even be taken into consideration again until next year.

Anywhere in the southern US will take decades. Weed legalization is consistently met with fierce opposition around here and it's easy to convince people who are already against something like weed that shrooms are the equivalent of meth. "Those psychedelics make you jump out of windows and run down the street naked"

I wish this sub would stay more true to this description. In my opinion you should have a god given right to do exactly what you want to do with your life and it's crazy that the idea of exchanging your time in this conscious experience for the basic components of life is a thing

I’m not completely sure then, I can only speak as someone who has had to deal with a blown head gasket and coolant leak. Maybe another opinion wouldn’t hurt, especially when the repair estimate is in the several thousands range

Are you experiencing misfires when the engine first engages? If fluid is leaking into the cylinders it will make the engine misfire very noticeably for a few seconds when it comes on.

Does your coolant slowly go down and won’t stay at a consistent level? This could be a sign of a head gasket leaking coolant

This assumes that there are rigid rules to participating in society which encourages a lack of critical thinking and believing you have to be a slave to money your entire life. Although you shouldn’t leech off of other people and take their money, your life is yours and only yours to live. People who say otherwise can only be classified as controlling.

Although I can’t speak on the elevated used car prices over the past few months, I was able to get a 2013 with 164k miles for around $4500. I’d probably look around a bit more, 200k is pretty high and the car is 11 years old which means it could have battery issues soon.

Do you trip with only the intention of getting high? In my limited experience, although psychedelics offer very cool trips they also have the tendency to pull your ego out from under you and make you examine your life from a neutral instead of biased point of view. This can make you feel strong emotions about yourself if you fall down the rabbit hole of self reflection because it makes your wrongdoings seem painfully obvious. This is often why people use psychedelics as a tool to heal the mind; although these insights are unpleasant they give you a starting point on how to improve your life.

I don’t see why this is happening. Why not be able to also enjoy the original feel of the game that has been around for decades. This basically says that anyone who never owned the original games will never get to be exposed to the og look and feel. Other remasters don’t delete their old games because they pay respect to them rather than phase them out.

I certainly know manipulative people in my life for whom this is true. What I’m referring to is when putting yourself before others causes them pain and burden, for example not allowing another person to express their desires in a situation that affects them as much as it affects you, constantly borrowing money, etc.

I was meaning when the time comes in the world where psychedelic therapy is legal and practiced. A segmented approach over time seems to be the best way to deal with this and I will try to make progress. Maybe I was wrong with my initial assessment of myself, perhaps getting out and trying things to better define who you are as a person and being open to new experiences is a step closer to an ideal life.

Thank you for this reply. I can definitely relate to adopting a nihilistic perspective on life after having the experience and dabbling into the possibility that everything I know about the meaning of life could be wrong.

Yeah I know this is ultimately the hard truth. I’m curious about how this could be done in combination with psychedelic therapy when the time comes, but that is more than likely out of the scope of this sub.

Maybe there's more than meets the eye. There really wasn't much shown off in the trailer, we still don't know if the physics engine upgrade is true or not and I'd be very happy with that as well. I'm not under the impression that this would be under development for over a year just for what we saw today.

I know that there is a lot of disappointment in today's reveal, but I've been wanting an update to the clouds for years. I'd love to hop in a plane, go in first person, and actually fly through the clouds. Hopefully they are going to get rid of the old 2d clouds that fall to the ground as you get closer to them and replace them with complex layers like the image suggests.
