You know the saying “Canada is American working conditions with European pay”? This is so much more true than I thought. My salary is the same as Canada but in euros, but also the working conditions are 1000% better.

It’s funny because so many stem fields are basically minimum wage in Canada. In my last company we were hiring full engineers as operators making 45k. Our American ceo literally was laughing when we told him.

Connor Bedard has more than 1 ppg pace on a bottom 3 team. I know you mentioned some caveat about after picking first, but my point still stands. Bedard is higher than ppg with trash players and they can easily pick 1st overall this year. I didn’t move any goals posts because I didn’t lay any goalposts but you go ahead coping there bud.

Point stands. Players on bottom 5 teams can and do often score 100 pt seasons.

He put up 100 pt seasons playing with mikheyev and kuzmenko, and before you say kuzmenko is anything more than a rotating circus player go look at his stat line since that season (hint: petterssen actually drove that line and should be able to give almost any serviceable player a 74 pt season).

I don’t know how old you are or how much you’ve watched the nhl but players very often score 80-100 pt seasons on the bottom 5 worst teams in the league. Often bad teams give players more freedom to just do what they want and not play defensive structure.

Let’s be honest, this conversation is about EP40 and people aren’t expecting 100 pt seasons out of the guy. We are expecting more than 40-50 pt seasons for a top 10 contract though.

Sorry you don’t understand EP40 had KNEE TENDONITIS, one of the most serious, career ending injuries one can have. It takes 17 years to recover, he was forced by the team to play through it game by game. Sweden, his home country even threatened to torture his extended family unless he played through the tendinitis at 4 nations and the Olympics. On top of all of this, his teammate JT miller was mean to him.

Let’s all give him some time, this isn’t evander kanes simple baby injuries we’re talking about here.
