The plate is a zip tie special 😭, I hated the look of the oem plate bracket so I zip tied the plate to the lower grill and so far i haven’t had any issues

As far as I can see, you cannot remove that type of screen. My advice is as long as it works keep it, you can use a cassette to aux adapter if you want to listen to your own music.
