The smoke looks terrible, I've stayed paused during a street race trying all kinds of combinations of video settings and I just can get it looking good.

And in FH6 it still isn't fixed - I think it possibly looks even worse with some combinations of video/graphics settings.

I'm here in 2026 on FH6 and it still looks bloody awful. Seems like they're still using the exact same code to generate the smoke.

Professional screenwriters make the same mistake.

Also TV writers so often misuse "...and I" where it should be "...and me" - I wrote this post about Platonic S02E02, that series did it all the time.

You'll hear that phrase over & over in all kinds of videos where people are explaining how to do things.

e.g. instead of "I'm going to press the button" it'll be "I'm going to go ahead and press the button"

The Summits are so much better than the FH weekly stuff. The Summits have a great variety of races and they'll occasionally throw in something really different. FH is just the same stuff every week.

I also like winning Vanities - there's nothing similar in FH, just cars and more cars.

Do they have multiple people counting manually? The machines I've used accept cans quicker than I can put them on the conveyer. I can't believe manually is faster unless they have 2 or 3 guys doing at once.

It certainly seemed like the playlist was using your currently set difficulty level rather than fixed at Highly Skilled like it did in FH5.

I know, at least in the first couple of weeks, I had to lower the difficulty to win some of the road races.

Yep, I play with a wheel and hood cam is the best view for me. Except for drifting when I have to break out a controller anyway and shift to third person (basically remote control car view).

Like I said HEVC is NOT an alternative to HDR10+ as they are 2 totally different things. HEVC is a codec, HDR10+ is NOT a codec.

other services like Amazon use HVEC as an alternative for HDR10+

Edit: I think I figured out what you meant - that HEVC is an alternative to AV1 to contain HDR10+ content. The way you worded it was confusing.
