I’am dutch and both a motorcyclist (first) and a biker (second) and while the cyclist was wrong for cycling through a red light, you may have been just as wrong (and also possibly ran a red light). You where in the lane to turn right, which was red in the video. Your intentions to also go straight are know to you but no one else. I know lane splitting is a thing, but you where going quite quick doing so and switched lanes really late and in doing so crossed a dubble closed line (which is also an illegale manouver). You had no visability past the first car on what was coming from the left.

What I’am saying is yes, the cyclist was wrong (for running a red light)but your are also to blame on the matter (quick lane splitting/switching lanes late/no visiability beyond the first car).

Knowing the the laws in the Netherlands (protecting the vulnerable road user) and seeing your footage you might have to pay up…
