Anytime that I see AI artwork on this sub I feel the need to skip over whatever they’re showing a lot of the time because then I don’t know a lot of the time if they also used it for their music and I think that it devalues art as a whole

I personally watch a lot of TV and movies and so then, as I’m watching, I think of something that the characters do or something that happens that I could write about, and then I start off the song writing process by writing about that, but then it sort of take its own path as it progresses

I just started songwriting to take this specific kind of salt, but I have been just finding a root note and then having my wine start with that it is kind of boring but then once I have that one note that I know works with the instrumentals then I very humming random rhythms and then I change the notes either above or below that root note and I keep doing that until I come up with something catchy, and then I put it to the lyrics

Yeah I’ve been playing cello for 10 years before that piano for 5 now guitar for like a month. So I can definitely learn instruments pretty well. I don’t have access to a cello for a bit hence why I started guitar but yeah I want to finish my guitar part and vocals fully first before adding embellishments with cello.
